Totally agree, Halo can have a great SP campaign with amazing AI and good MP. Killzone, although botching the story still had a very fun SP because the AI was smart too.
Why should COD and BF get away with whack-a-mole gameplay, that only works when people are blown away by the graphics.
How can you give a game with shit SP more than an 8/10. Why bother making it all, may as well just create more maps and game modes and make it MP only.
I'm glad I cancelled my pre-order a week ago and got Batman AC. I finally cleared my head of the hype haze and bought one of the best games I've played.....ever.
Console graphics aren't good enough for crap AI, shallow story all wrapped up in 6 hrs and more importantly, I'm tired of pray-and-spray, first to spot gets the kill military shooters MP. I prefer to face my opponent mano-e-mano like in Gears and Reach and see who is more skilled.
My friend bought it for PS3 today and is trading it in already, he even thinks the graphics are worse than BFBC2 because they're blurry and not as sharp.
He's logged in over 200 hrs in BFBC2 and doesn't even like BF3.
This game is meant for PC.
Talk about interactive cinema 8 days wow.
That's actually pretty good for Battlefield as COD probably outsold BFBC2 4-1.
And for the people hating on COD, you do realize that just because you don't like a game doesn't mean that it sucks or is only meant for children.
I'm not a fan of COD but I have friends that love it and enjoy it immensely, the only immature children are the ones hating on what a gamers personal preferences are.

Final Fantasy games don't get me excited at all anymore and I like FF13 (well up until the boring and protracted boss fights at the end of the game and big difficulty spike).
Whatever the PC gets take off 5-10% for consoles because it's not as good on consoles, it's too much for them.
I'm not trolling, I don't even own a gaming PC it's just Battlefield 3 is one of the few games that I actually feel will be vastly superior on PC, most are just higher res and framerates imo.
Except for that one pic where PS3 looks like it's using low-res textures, they look the same but 360 is crushing blacks in a few pics which I don't like.
Whatever, I don't mind Eurogamer, not everyone has to love the game...they also gave Gears 3 an 8/10 so PS3 fanslaves don't get you're panties in a not.
I have Gears 3 and would give it approx 8/10 (6/10 SP and 9/10 MP) so maybe their overall opinion of Uncharted 3 would mirror mine. Regardless, I'm still buying it because I love Uncharted games SP.
I think Uncharted would be better without MP.

It deserves it, all the updates have made it 5-10 percent better.
Well 9 gigs is better than the 6.6 limit used all gen.
Kinect may have been marketed better (way better) but Sony supported Move more this year by implementing it in better games.

COD-syndrom has certainly plagued this gen, where devs focus on MP (most of it is bad too) and include a short, shallow SP "campaign".
I'm not hating on COD, they found tremendous success, I'm hating on the publishers that try to recreate it by copying the COD formula = short and shallow SP with focus on MP. Most people just play the established, well developed MP games.
You can be a MP game with a passable SP but you can't be a SP game...

He says BFBC2 is a lot sharper despite all the additional details in BF3. Whatever to each there own, maybe he just played too much BFBC2 and is sick of military FPS games.
