The fact that Home is always full of people and the fact that so many 3rd party publishers are supporting it OBVIOUSLY means Home is doing something right. Again, within the first 3 weeks of open beta, with home having minimal spaces, it generated over 1.5 million dollars.
Man you naysayers really need to get a reality check. You want to claim that Homes sucks but everything points otherwise.
If you think Home sucks then you're a fool. Home has been successful since its open Beta release on Dec 16th and now you have more and more 3rd parties picking it up and adding their own support. Home will continue to grow despite some of you naysayers think.
I agree with what Peter Edward had to say. Home is successful and will continue to do so. Some of the main features people are looking for to be implemented are picture frames so you can add your own pictures in personal spaces and TVs so you (and hopefully your friends) can watch videos that are on your system.
Get your facts straight. The full length video for God of War 3 is all IN-GAME footage. This has been talked about many times.
Gotta love your 4 player multi-player PSN games. Bomberman Ultra needs to come out already..... That's gonna be up to 7 players.
You say Forza 2 has sold 3.9m but you also forget that Gran Turismo 5 PROLOGUE has sold over 3 million. That's with a MUCH smaller userbase than 360 and it's not even the full game.
It's only that they strip the console down to the bare minimum and all the consumer sees is that happy meal price of $199. Then when they bring the system home they find out that they gotta add $50 for XBL, $100 for a 60 gig HDD, $20 for the recharge kit, and another $100 if they want Wifi.
The general public isn't too smart.
You'll be happy to know that most of the kids got bored and Home is primarily left with sensible people using what Home was intended for, a social network.
Come off that Week 1 BS.
Warhawk used for $15 from Amazon haha. I once considered getting it when there was a PSN sale going on for $20 but passed up on it. I think it'd rather have this game on BD than downloaded.
If you 360 fanboys are gonna jump on the Halo Wars bandwagon, let's consider something. Halo Wars released March 3rd (basically beginning of March) has the March NPD of 639k. Killzone 2 released 2 days in Feb sold 323K and now we have another 296K here in March. So basically 600k (619K to be exact). How in the world is 639K vs 619K ownage of any sort? Especially considering one has a MUCH higher install base here in the USA AND it has a house hold name in the title.
So what ...
NFS 1 2 3 and Hot Pursuit 2 were the best of the series. Not Underground.
Even in the midst of a economic downtime, the entertainment industry still thrives. Granted a lot of people see movies still, at $9-$10 a ticket at some places, it's getting a bit expensive to continually see movie after movie. That's why I can't wait for a lot of movies to come out on DVD or Blu-ray so I can just rent them. Watch them with a few friends (if others chip in) and you're talking about pennies here.
Home doesn't suck. It's still a work in progress and as the article says, has plenty of potential. Sony is making their PSN better as well.
Wanna know what you get for that $200 XBOX 360 that's half the price a PS3? 1/4 a PS3. Let's add up the costs to what you need to even begin to compare to a PS3.
+ $100 - $150 for a hard drive (60 gig or 120 gig)
+ $50 for online play via Xbox Live
+ $20 for the Plug and Play recharge kit for your controller
+ $100 for the WiFi add-on
Looks to me that $200 system just turned into a $470 system and it's STILL not offering what the PS3 has to offer....
Because we know that MGS4 and upcoming God of War 3 are the only good games for PS3.... (rolls eyes)

Gotta love the irony.
MeatPopsicle, you hit the nail on the head.
One can say that the NXE itself is cluttered. What appeals about the XMB is the fact that it's simple and CLEAN. The way it's supposed to be. I don't need 5 billion things loading up when I go online like a Myspace page. Everything is nicely organized. If you want to look at games or upcoming movies ect, you go to the Playstation Store. If you want to meet up in the virtual world, you go to Playstation Home. Want to see what's happening around the world of Playstation? Open up the PS3 ...
And after each another RROD happens then later a new "fix" is stated. Same cycle.
MS is gonna win E3 with 3 games. Keep dreamin.
