Hm.... Turned on my Playstation.... Played a couple of hours.... Turned it off... Nope. Not affected by Gamergate in any way whatsoever. The average gamer is not affected by this thing. Heck I best most don't even know about it. The only people affected are those that take gaming "journalism" way too seriously.
I'm as tired of the whole Gamer Gate crap as the next guy... But I find Felicia's actions really stupid. Why would you be afraid of some guys walking around just because they have gamer shirts. She's actually validating the whole "gamers are dangerous people" stereotype that we have been trying to avoid. Then she writes about it which will obviously get people passionate about the subject and generates the attention of trolls... This is seriously getting out of hand.
Slow zombies = strength in numbers. One slow zombie might be nothing but once you are overwhelmed by them you are pretty much screwed. I personally prefer slow zombies on controlled situations. The original Resident Evil games are a perfect example. There could only be one zombie in your way, but it would be in a small corridor and your limited ammo made it a hell of an obstacle.
Scale... What now?
Not so sure how this game is so different from GTA... There have been a lot of games about psychopaths. What's worse... This game was apparently made by Polish devs... Poland has one of the lowest crime rates in Europe. Maybe... just maybe, people are just being too touchy about this. It's just a game. If it's not your type of game, move along, nothing to see here. I miss the good old days when gaming was about gaming and you didn't have to cater to everyone's misguided id...
Must be nice to get paid for taking shots in the dark. It's a sad time in video games when idiots like Pachter and Molyneux get so much press.
If they used a ps4 they would've been able to smuggle 1080 bags of cocaine instead of 900.
PS1 had one of the greatest gaming libraries ever. Of course a lot of games will be left out, but overall this is a great top 10 list.
I still can't make it verdict on DC since I haven't been able to play online yet. So the jury is still out. As it stands, FH2 is a more solid package. As for king of racers... None of the above.
FFIX was Amano's work and is criminally underrated. The problem here is that FF fans nowadays started with FFVII and Kingdom Hearts and are used to what Nomura does. I personally find his characters stale and lifeless. They all look the same. But to each his own I guess.
Judging by the idiotic articles I've read about Assassin's Creed... This is not a big deal and it's great to avoid debates and such... Parity rules!!! /s
I can imagine something like the Nemesis System being implemented in a game like Fallout. That would be EPIC!
Haven't played the game yet... But I'm wondering how you can make it proper review of a game focused on social driving and making clubs... When the game just came out and the online component hasn't been fully explored yet. I think the whole package should be thoroughly reviewed before making a conclusion.
The first rule of Driveclub is... You do not talk about... Sorry... had to do it. *runs away crying*
Next thing you know games that could run at 60fps will be locked at 30fps for "parity"... Stay classy Ubi.
Warhawk was so freaking underrated. Starhawk was cool but it just didn't capture the magic of Warhawk. Just thinking about starting a match running on foot and seeing people charging in jeeps as the Warhawks flew overhead full speed still gives me goosebumps.
Umbasa!
That scene where the albino guy appears out of nowhere and stabs the flower girl while the blonde guy just watches and refuses to use a Phoenix down on her!
Meanwhile Minecraft outsells all their games by a landslide... *hint * people don't get "wowed" by graphics only. Make an original concept with great art direction and you'll have a masterpiece regardless of graphics.
I think it will be most useful for having a clear idea of how smooth a game runs. For example noticing frame drops on action heavy scenes and the like.
