Sigh... Another article about how disappointing a game is when it's not even out... We get it. The Order, Bloodborne and every other exclusive that is coming out this year is disappointing... In fact, I think I'm gonna trade in my PS4 to avoid such disappointments. /s
And here I was hoping this crap was left behind on 2014. Let gaming be about games. Tired of this people who go out of their way to be offended just to victimize themselves.
In my opinion review scores are actually necessary. I like to get an overall consensus of how good a game is. So I look at meta scores and then read reviews from sites that I find trustworthy. If a game gets a universal score of like 3/10, I'm not even gonna bother with it. Not everyone has time to read every review in order to make up their mind about a game.
Man I miss old school RE. Resident Evil 4 gave new life to the series but it also made it all about action instead of survival. I knew there was something wrong when instead of running from a mob fearing for my life I was shooting a guy in the face then spin kicking a mob and dropping 6 enemies at once.
Super Mario Bros 1 for NES is the game of all time. It single handedly rescued gaming and made it the thriving business that it is today. This is a Platinum game. Meaning it will be great for some, but not everyone's cup of tea. This has become the generation of over hyping new ip's
The Binding of Isaac Rebirth. Man do I have a love/hate relationship with that game XD
People who are rooting for this game will see the good in it. People who want to see it fail will crucify it before it even comes out. We will have only be certain if it is good once it comes out. Then based on reviews, word of mouth, etc everyone can make an educated decision on whether they should get the game or not.
I want a new pirate IP. I'm sick of Assassin's Creed but loved Black Flag. I also want a fantasy setting, none of that sci-fi crap. Heck! A Prince of Persia with pirate ships should be AMAZING!

Don't like it? Don't buy it. I wonder when exactly everyone became so sensitive about this sort of stuff. I remember in the 90s people were rallying so that Mortal Combat would be released on consoles. Now when a remotely controversial game is announced every throws a hissy fit and act like self righteous inquisitors.

Exactly. This is the best RE imo and for people like me who don't want to dust off their GameCube to play this game this is gonna be great. People who don't care can just ignore this re-remake altogether and it would not affect them either way.
Well it was a bad example on the video. But you can say "Playstation" the name of a game and "Start" . It's handy if you don't want to scroll through all the games to find the one you want. Pretty convenient

It sold so well on November because Master Chief Collection came out... And the network issues killed whatever momentum they had going into the holiday season. Then PS Experience happened and the ps4 hype went through the roof. I really don't see the Xbox getting ahead of the PS4 again in the foreseeable future.
