This game plays nothing like God of War at all. It is the same type of game as Demon's Souls and Dark Souls. However overall it's simpler than the other games. All you actually upgrade is your weapons and the action is faster paced. With that said, it's as challenging as any other game in the series so keep that in mind.
I just beat the game. Took me about 43 hours and I soloed the whole game. It's quite beatable. If people feel the need to cheat in this game, they should really be playing something else.
Value for the gamer is never bad.
I have no doubt that there will be some improvements.... But there's only so much you can do on the software side. The hardware is still the same so I wouldn't go out saying stuff like it's gonna "remedy" the resolution until there is some of actual proof.
