By "fans" they mean "journalist" fishing for something to be offended about and start a media campaign boycotting the game if they don't pander to their demands...
I dunno. Maybe they hear such loud footsteps and realize they're in over their head? XD
Well... Not really. Mr. X by himself is not a big deal. You just run around a table and you're good. It's actually kind of goofy at times. What is actually scary is the circumstances he puts you in. Like the west wing of the police station. Once you come back from the underground, that first corridor has two lickers and a bunch of zombies if you didn't board the windows. If you're just quietly walking down the hall trying to avoid the lickers and run into the zombies and THEN ...
Probably an unpopular opinion, but I would rather see a modern version of Vagrant Story.
I actually thing this game is gonna hurt PUBG much more than Fortnite. Fortnite has a huge demographic that consists of younger players who like the cartoony aesthetics and watch streamers like Ninja. Apex Legends appeals more to the more serious players which fall more in the PUBG, BLOPS4 demographic.
Hi-rez... Major studio??? Pfffft.
No. It's survival horror. It coined the term for the genre. It's the embodiment of what the genre entails. It's the quintessential example of what survival horror is. You can draw as many parallels as you like, but that doesn't make it accurate. That's like saying RE2 is 3rd person, you have an over the shoulder view, you run and shoot weapons... RE2 is a 3rd person shooter!!!
Canceled games we never got to played... All of them... That's what canceled means. What a redundant headline.
So the gist of this article is that he felt bad about looting the police station at first but then came to the realization that there was noone else so it wasn't morally wrong... Good way of grasping the concept of SURVIVAL there buddy... -_-
Does this information play a vital role in the story? There is no story, so no. Are we gonna see them having sex in game? No. Do you get a hate crime penalty for killing any of these characters? No. So this is completely irrelevant to the game and serves no purpose other than to gain social justice points from people who don't really care about the games as much as the controversy surrounding them.
I agree. I had to play that game in bursts. It got way too intense sometimes. XD
I would love a VR mode!
I can't help but feel that this announcement blindsided Respawn and now they'll have the pressure to rush a Titanfall game just to meet a deadline.
A hoonter must hoont.
Well, you don't even have to go that far. In the original Resident Evil 2 the cutscene when Mr. X is dropped into the RPD shows 5 other drop pods containing tyrants.
There's multiple Tyrant-103 series dropped into Racoon City. You can find the corpse of at least one more in RE3. But "Mr. X" is the one that was in the Police Station. There's never been any indication that there was more than one. Alternate scenarios are exactly that. It's either or. You can't take both scenarios as absolute truth or you'll run into inconsistencies throughout the whole playthrough.
I downloaded this game with zero expectations, but I must say I'm pleasantly surprised. I could find matches right away, the shooting is on point. The classes keep things varied and the pinging system maintains communication constant even with no headset. I genuinely want to see how well this game does.
Jumping straight into game 15 of a series diminishes the experience... Who would've known...
There's no precedent showing Xbox "winning" a generation... Last gen was close and it was mostly because Sony fumbled the ball with the PS3 launch and the cell hardware. But they came back to form and pretty much replicated what put them on the top spot in their PS1-2 days this gen. At this point MS shouldn't focus on "winning" as much as understanding what makes a successful console. Hint: it's the games.
I don't even want a remake. Just for it to be released as a PS2 classic with a resolution boost and 60fps. This game still holds up nicely.
