Not that "substantial"...
I apologize if it came off as rude. That wasn't my intention. I was genuinely interested in the article since I'm an avid fan of Soulsborne lore, but I had a hard time breaking down the sentences to try to understand the point. I understand that the language is more on the theological and philosophical side but for a layman such as myself (with English as a second language) it's quite hard to follow. I will give it another go though. Thank you for the reply!
Too little too late.
Pretty sure you can buy the upgrade to the ultimate edition separately if you already bought MM.
Edit: Yup. Just looked it up.
"If you do purchase a standard edition of the game on PS4 or PS5, you can upgrade to the Ultimate Edition later for $20."
My brain hurts. Was this written in another language and translated in Google or something? Because not a single paragraph in that article makes a coherent thought.
They reported on hardware sales until they started getting outsold by the competition.
I bought an optical to hdmi adapter to use my Astro A40. It costs $40. If you have Logitech headset they are giving a $15 discount. Look it up.
Even that doesn't work... I heard that.... From a friend...
Days Gone got dismissed when it came out because of its "generic gruff protagonist" when Deacon has some of the best character development I've ever seen in a game. I hope people give that game a chance when they get it on the PS Plus Collection.
They used the original code for enemies and such. They behave EXACTLY as they did back in the day.
Doubling the framerate is pretty significant.
I have 500+ hours in Bloodborne... Lord knows how many in The Binding of Isaac. XD
You sir, are a man of refined taste.
I think it's a matter of making the games easier to optimize. I imagine developers can test out the games and get the intended results more effectively if they have to worry about 2 resolutions instead of the odd ones in between. For the most part consoles are hooked up to a TV which will run at either 1080p or 4k.
This engine is crap. You shouldn't "overhaul" it. Instead they should invest on a new engine or use one that has been tried and tested. People have grown tired of Bethesda releasing broken games. It's not cute or endearing anymore.
The Souls games, also known as the Soulsborne games are From software's games of the genre. Meaning Demon's Souls and it's spiritual sequels. Soulslike games are the genre. That's like saying you're making a list of the best Vs. Games talking about the Capcom fighting games and stuffing Guilty Gear in there.
Their list:
8.Demon's Souls
7.Dark Souls 2
6.Sekiro
5.Dark Souls 3
4.Nioh 2
3.Dark Souls
2.Nioh
1.Bloodborne
So they got Demon's Souls as the worst... And the Nioh games WHICH ARE NOT EVEN MADE BY FROM SOFTWARE ranking better than most of the Souls games. This list is a joke.
Well Todd never lies..
Ever.
Am I the only one who can spend easily over an hour on a detailed character creator?
"Hi everyone. I’m finally allowed to announce my new job... as a video game writer at @SonySantaMonica, who you probably as the studio who make God of War. I am so, SO proud to be a part of this incredible team 😭❤️."
"Who you probably as"? Maybe it might be wise to proof read the tweet announcing your new job as a writer... 😆
