The game currently stands at a 90 Metacritic score.
I'm really glad this game is getting good reviews. I became a fan of Josef Fares when he went on his "F*ck the Oscars" rant lol.
I thought he was talking about the mic mute. But I genuinely didn't know you could mute all sounds.
As of December 31st, 2020 this collection has sold 8 million copies, it is probably went up this month so to round it up my guess is it will sell over 10 million. By any metric this has been a huge success and a horrible precedent for creating false scarcity of digital goods. Any other company would ve scrutinized to hell if they tried to pull off this stunt. But Nintendo has away of getting away with this stuff.
A Nintendo MS partnership could dominate the industry...
So would a Nintendo Sony partnership...
Or a MS Sony partnership...
When 2 out of the 3 main competitors join, they would tilt the balance in their favor. What kind of stupid hypothetical argument is this?
@someone72
All people who buy a Switch after the date will not have a chance to buy the game. So you are blocking off late adopters and new customers from enjoying the Mario classics.
Absolutely not. It is a business practice that has no point but twisting peoples' arms into buying the game out of fear of missing out. And for some reason Nintendo apologists will justify this clearly anti consumer move. It sets a horrible precedent for limited time digital games.
Just finished beating Silent Hill 2 for the 100th time. Still a timeless classic. A good game is a good game regardless.
That game was ahead of its time. They scoffed at the idea of a purely online multiplayer game and criticized the "lack of content". FF to 2021. Some of the most popular games are precisely what Warhawk set out to be back then.
This is the kind of BS that has given Bethesda a free pass for years. To the point where people would say bugs are part of the "charm" of their games. Yes some of their bugs are hilarious, but that doesn't change the fact that for all the content and solid base their games had, they were technically incompetent as developers.
Yet the system is backwards compatible...
This keeps sounding better and better.
After the scandals last year I'm glad this will ensure Evo goes on.
Rising Taco!
That's just the way it goes. Alanah Pearce has done even less and she was the talk of the town when she joined Santa Monica for some reason. I think the big story here is that there's a new studio working on a new ip. Her involvement (or lack thereof) is pretty much irrelevant imo.
This article is literally about how supportive Sony was with the development of GOT. The hell you talking about?
Well that's technically news about a video game company. This story boils down to some dude opened an old Magic pack and got a rare card...
So chess news, pachinko, poker, dodgeball... all should be covered? It's called News4Gamers because News4VideoGamers doesn't roll off the tongue.
How is this video game news?
Same thing as a pc... Batteries die.... It's an inevitable fact. You replace the battery and you're good to go. This hypothetical future doomsday scenario is blown out of proportion. Especially considering the PS5 plays PS4 games too. By the time your cmos batteries die out you will probably be playing another generation of consoles anyways.
