People compare anything remotely hard to Dark Souls... Although it does share a Lovecraftian element with Bloodborne.
Nope. Got home and told me the game updated while on rest mode. I was half way through a very op run too. Last night before putting it on rest mode I disabled all internet connectivity from the PS5 so it doesn't happen again.
CNET isn't the reliable gaming source you think it is.
I was thinking the same thing. Most female astronauts (well astronauts in general) have a very average worldy look to them. It gives it a sense of realism and imo helps keep focus on what the game's really about.
That's not true. There's permanent progress in each run. Enhancements, objectives, unlocked weapons and gadgets, the story, etc carry over every time you die. It's not as if you're starting the game from zero when you die. All good roguelikes have a sense of progression regardless of having to restart over and over.
Got Returnal pre-ordered! I don't usually pre-order games but that's a day 1 buy for me and the 2 bonus suits look sick!
Seeing this just makes me wish for a new Demon's Crest.
Please sir or madam:
We prefer the term "surprise mechanics" around here.
It's like the Wiiu never happened. XD
Exactly! That was the first game that came to mind!
Yeah... How dare people prefer to have options. /s 🤦🏻♂️
Yeah, that's why I said it should be an option. Personally I would rather take a hit on resolution than framerate. The RE engine is very clean looking so even an upscaled lower resolution looks really good. I can't imagine it would be too hard to implement.
I think they should add an option for a lower ray traced resolution that reaches 60fps.
I just said I want a sequel. Not sure what your point is...
I hope between making this game free for PS5 users, PS Plus subscribers and now having the PC release the game is successful enough for a sequel to be greenlit. There's so much potential for a sequel (and a tie in prequel) that I'd be a shame if it never comes to fruition.
I'm sure all those people without internet who SOMEHOW managed to get a PS5 by walking into a store and getting it off the shelf and that know about Intergrade (which I'm guessing they read about on a Gamepro magazine) will be devastated when they find out the that downloadable content is downloadable content. /s
Smh.
Seriously... Who are these people who have no internet connections and only play unpatched disc versions of games...?
According to the USD inflation calculator:
If in 2011I purchased an item for
$59.99
then in 2021 that same item would cost: $70.14
Cumulative rate of inflation: 16.9%
I don't know... That looks kind of spot on...
That is parting from the premise that mini Mario is the actual Mario. Judging by the size of the other npcs in the NES games giant Mario is the real Mario. And his jumping size is roughly the same. So more realistically, he should be able to jump around 12.5 ft. Then there's the elephant in the room. Luigi has always been a higher jumper than Mario, so that Guinness record and the whole article should be about Luigi. It's people like this writer why the green bro never gets any respec...
The more you play the less of an issue it becomes. After the first 3 stages the game is pretty generous with resources to prolong your run.
