Journalists should stay away from appearing bias and the rants over Too Human and Halo 3 (especially the Halo 3 rant) are just too much. I mean, sure give us a pe5rsoanl opinion, but make sure you base it as a personal opinion rather than trying to compare scores from other games or becoming a mega fanboy and telling others to "quit whining" even though you whine about the same things in other games.
Just finished Uncharted so this is perfect timing, although Disgaea 3 comes out next week so I'll stick to something cheap. Burnout and R6 have both been shooting me glances from acorss the store so I may check them out.

I think journalists defending xbox titles in this fashion is unfair and stupid (Adam Sessler did the same thing with Halo 3). Seriously, is Microsoft paying G4 to defend their stuff when the internet rage begins?

Solid Snake. Sure he's never fought aliens before, but he has fought a telepath, a vampire(sorta) and even crazy large machines and has lived. He could infiltrate the alien base and blow it up from the inside.

Considering the entire Too Human debacle right now. I still plan to get it since I love Diablo type loot games. If it blows, I'll trade it quick.
I will agree with you on one thing. MS doesn't hype like Sony. In stead they like to buy major ad campaigns fetauring prodicts such as gamefuel and placing costumed figures in Times Square for crazies to come out and see. Yes sir I speak of Halo 3. Not what wer eyou saying about Hype again?
As long as it's not like FF12, I'm in. I just didn't like the gambit system and what not. I don't like random encounters all that much but I'll take them anyday over what 12 offered.
And Achievements aren't orignal either. Game unlocks have existed since the danw of gaming. If that isn't close enough for you, take alook at Skill points in games like Spyro. That to me is the first real acheivement/trophy system.
Score or not I'll get what looks fun. And this still looks fun to me. It may not be perfect, but fun is what I want.

I love the show which means I have to at least give it a shot. It'll probably be one of those games that gets reviewed poorly, but a sect of people would stab someone for saying anything bad about it (I'm often in that sect, just depends on the game....and I probably wouldn't stab anyone, but I would kick a shon or 2).
