Have you seen the user metacritic score ? It was getting zeros the minute people were allowed to post reviews. Like I said, there are people who have played the game and just didn't like it, which is fine, but review bombing something the way "gamers" are doing with this is nothing short of childish.

If all games are going up $10 then we can sure that there will be less developers in the industry, as the increase in development costs will surely push a lot of studios out.

No one's saying it needs to go on forever, just one more game to tie things up.

I think part 3 will largely focus on Ellie and Abby regaining the humanity they lost through their quests for revenge in part 2. In terms of where Ellie was going, I highly doubt she's return to her old life at Jackson, as she probably won't be welcomed. I think in order to heal, she needs to find a new life, and new friends. I doubt she'll give her life up for a cure, as it'll make Joel's sacrifice for nothing, as he died wanting her to live. I could see this new group of...

At first ? yes, but she becomes more likable and understandable the more you play through her story, not that many haters would know this considering they won't even play the game.

It also proves that people are fast to judge things before experiencing them (mostly).

As much as I'd like a new IP, I can't really blame them for making a 5th uncharted, nor am I against it if the quality is maintained from the original 4 games.

Lost legacy was going to revolve around Sully, but they couldn't find the right story for him, so he's at least being considered for future projects.

This game is nothing short of a masterpiece. The vast majority of people who don't like it either didn't play it or already had their mind made up before the game was even released. I say the majority and not everyone because I'm sure there are people who for whatever reason couldn't get into it, which is fine.

Playstation is a worldwide brand, him speaking good English or not is irrelevant for him being the face of the brand.

You couldn't have missed the point harder if you tried.

"The pitfall a lot of writers with this kind of story fall into is like, OK, we need people to like Abby, let's make her perfect".

This is exactly right, and something I was afraid they'd do. What I like about Abby is similar to what I like about Ellie, they're both good people deep down, but they keep making these terrible mistakes. I think anyone can see themselves making similar choices if put in similar situations, which is why they're so easy ...

Lack of message ? Am I and a few others the ones playing with our eyes open ? how on earth can so many people be missing the point of this story ?

2184d ago 5 agree1 disagreeView comment

It proves that nothing is as good or bad as they may seem. Joel is presented as a loving father, but we find out through both games that he has done some messed up things. Others are presented as bad people, but we learn that even they have families, friends, and responsibilities, just as out protagonists do. There's no good and evil, not black and white, just survivors covered in gray.

Same here. I kept switching back and forth between who I wanted to win between Ellie and Abby, only to realize in the end they both lost everything. This game is nothing short of a masterpiece.

When it comes to the 2 other games you mentioned, I think 2077 is going to be too big for its own good, while Ghost will most likely be amazing, it probably won't have the impact of this story.

Translation: "it's not what I wanted it to be, so it's not good".

RDR2 is the only game that's on its level, and will probably remain so for a long time. What Naughty Dog has done with this game is nothing short of amazing. I give them major credit for throwing expectations out the window and doing an original sequel.

Is this article a joke ? those are by no means bad games, but they're nowhere near the level that this game is on. The only game that is on this level is RDR2.

The people who hate it tend to fall into 2 groups:

Group 1, the people who don't like it because it isn't what their fan fiction of a sequel is.
Group 2, the people who don't like it because it isn't afraid to tell them that life sucks, and happy endings aren't always possible.

Play it again, but this time leave what you think it should've been at the door and see it for what it is.
