Ill say one thing for PS3 owners, Im jealous about Haze. That game sounds like its going to be awesome. Possibly a reason to buy a PS3 for me.
Im scared to play Brawl. The Wiimote is fun but it can be a bit laggy.
I just cant get into racers anymore. Burnout is awesome and I love Mariocart but thats it.
I was super psyched for Fable 1 and was let down. It wasnt a bad game but not the game Peter built it up to be. I envisioned it as Morrowind meets Zelda and it was nothing of the sort. I want to believe in Fable 2 but Ive got to read the reviews first.
I agree with you. I remember being blown away by the graphics on Splinter Cell Chaos Theory, probably the prettiest OB Xbox game to date, nicer, perhaps then some current gen games. I think, if anything, new consoles are more about console dominance. Newer and prettier can attract people.
Oh and an Xbox handheld would be awesome.
I think one person latched on to this. I thisnk this dude was saying that they are going to develop the Xbox 3 and continue to market the 360 for a more casual audience.
My guess is they are going to try to win a piece of the casual market with the 360, perhaps develop new peripherals, more family games, etc, and cater to the more hardcore audience with X3.

Finally. Im a 360 owner Ive held off on buying a HD player. At least now its clear for consumers what to buy. Whether this is good for PS3 we will see, with MS not closing the doors on making Bluray for Xbox. Whatever the case its good for consumers and DVD makers alike. Will Toshiba eventually manufacter Bluray if HDDVD goes under?

I dont think MGS is bad necessarily but the long overly dramatic dialogue really turned me off. If MGS4 tones that down a tad I would definately take a look.
Because Halo unavoidably is why the system sold. It may not be a feature but that doesnt mean its not valid to state its relevance in how well the Xbox has done. OG Xbox stayed afloat because of Halo. 360 hit hard because of Halo. So, guess what? Whether or not 360 needs Halo to continue strong Halo has put the box in a strong place. The fact that its even holding its own against Sony when last gen it was so far behind shows what one good game can do.
So we need more good games...
