Not to mention that Spencer himself all but said the Kinect is a gimmick, since it serves virtually no in-game function. At least Sony isn't mandating a Morpheus purchase for the first 6-7 months, so people can choose whether they want to pick it up or not. But color me very interested
With a name like Bowser, how was Doug not already working at Nintiendo?!?!?
Yeah but if a reputable publisher like Take2 trusts this company's estimate (during their financial conference call) it can't be too far off
So you and @Messiah23 would rather have a worse frame rate & worse resolution just because you don't want to charge up a controller? Too each, they're own I guess…I'll take the better console version of the game
So you'll put 100 hours in 1 sitting just to talk smack about the DS4???
WESTERN RELEASE! WESTERN RELEASE!
Yeah but the difference between Xbox One and PS4 for April 2015 NPD is like < 15k …PS4 makes that difference up in 1 week from the Japanese gap
@Dark11
Actually if you went down the venture beat report it said: "If the top 10 software list was ranked on a SKU basis rather than a title basis, PS4’s Bloodborne, 3DS’s Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, and Wii U’s Mario Party 10 would make the list." -- Meaning Bloodborne still did pretty darn good in April!!!
@Septic
While I would love to see Sony have a presser at every available conference around the globe, there are some things to consider in this case:
Not holding a press conference doesn't mean they won't have a presence (booth on the trade floor) at the 4 day event.
Waiting to announce new games on Oct 27 takes some shine off of Halo 5.
And while your right that Gamescom is huge, its mainly for the gamers, specifical...
60fps is gonna be cool, but why is uploading gameplay video from Xbox One still behind a paywall though? Thats not cool
@vallencer
I didn't say anything about Microsoft…@KryptoniteTail made a comment about greedy companies (I presume, Sony) and I illustrated an example of a feature Sony could have been greedy with, but decided not to be.
@Crimzon
Thankfully your not talking about me otherwise you would have noticed my original comment (#1.1) where I said, "...if some peoples features don't work, Sony needs to get on that ASAP!!!"
Also, nobody shouldn't have to pay for a subscription service in order to upload gameplay video. Such greed…Thankfully, Playstation doesn't doesn't require payment just to upload gameplay video
Is it just in Europe or in the USA as well? I have PS Now here in the USA and all my features (PS Now, PS+, Netflix, etc.) work, but if some peoples features don't work, Sony needs to get on that ASAP!!!
I hope for, like you guys stated, announcement for Fallout 4 release for late-Oct/early-Nov Holiday release. And I wouldn't mind a Fallout 3/Skyrim remaster release for July/Aug (done by a completely different studio)
@mhunterjr
I think its a gimmick in the console gaming sphere. Outside of gaming I think Hololens will be HUGE…But I'm not sure about how hololens will relate to console gaming other than HUD placement. Of course the price point will probably be the biggest determining factor as to whether this takes off in the gaming (specifically console gaming) realm.
@Crimzon
"I want them to give funding to talented studios who deliver high-quality games such as Bloodborne, rather than throwing away five years worth of development costs on garbage like The Order."
I'm sorry but this statement shows me that you don't understand new IP investment. New IP's are more risky; thus tend to be more "hit or miss" than established franchises. You have to take the critically mediocre IP outcomes (li...
This is what I want to hear from the Sony execs…Aggressively Invest in Playstation…Music to my ears!!!!!
Brad Wardell has NEVER spoke about any benefits of Dx12 on XB1…
"No one knows how much benefit Xbo will get from dx12. I can only speak about the pc bc we have dx12 titles in development." -- Wardell's tweet from March 25, 2015

@LordMaim
Sorry if I suggested that Brad Wardell didn't write those articles, but my main point was those articles he wrote were 11 months before the tweets he wrote. Meaning that his most current statements about Dx12 have ONLY been about PC and NEVER about XB1…
Here's another quote of his from March 25, 2015: where he clearly & specifically states that he's ONLY talking about Dx12 boosts on the PC: "No one knows how much benefit Xbo wi...
Thats why I always create multiple saves in these open world games that allow for instant manual saves. Always allow yourself to pick up from a recent save point
