LoL, PS is thirsty af. MS sure knows how to market at venues.
Playing games? How do you do that? I need my console to be better in my mind to sleep good at night. I don't even need any games installed on it.
Wow, you are going to try and convince people that a console is as integral or important to someone's life as a cell phone? Good luck.
Consoles have a pretty specific price point consumers are willing to paying.
A $1000 for the full experience? What if I want less than that like the PSVR? Can I just upgrade a PC for $400? Or spend $600-700 for near full experience?
It isn't so cut and dry considering PC graphic settings are configurable which will allow you to adjust fps on the fly.
I think we agree with each other on the rest concerning value.
Yeah, except the PS4 is closer to the 7850 in architecture which was $249 at release.

$100 difference.
Fast forward to 2015 and both equivalent cards, AMD R7 360 and R7 370 have a $40 difference. Not far off at all now from the original statement.

After playing the beta I rewatched the trailers back to E3 2013 and noticed the game wasn't missing a ton of what they showed.
Aside from lighting, the destructible environments and tablet inclusion were the only discernable features I would want that were absent.
Until Microsoft cut Kinect. Then the price advantage disappeared and the XB1 became cheaper, especially when you looked at bundles, than the PS4. Again, in this scenario it's more than just seeing value in the lower graphic setting that would increase sales and popularity.
We also don't know the price of the PSVR and whether it will be in a similar ball park as the Oculus.

In due time. If the clever engineering behind dynamic resolutions was spawned because of the criticism the Xbox received, I doubt we'll have to wait long for a new technology to supplant vsync and remove screen tearing altogether.
TV's should begin to incorporate Freesync technology where both consoles can benefit from dynamic refresh rates.
It would be interesting to see these two technologies brought to PC where we cou...
When did not focusing on better graphics give an advantage? Wouldn't the XB1 be more popular if that were the case? I don't get the double standards here which somehow removes all rationality.

I don't believe you can completely throw out the install base of PC's in both the consumer and business market, compare it to the PS4's current install base, and honestly say Sony has an advantage here.
Last year Intel was claiming over 1 billion PC's world wide were over three years old. Windows 10 is already on 150+ million devices and Microsoft is planning to have it up to 1 billion in over a 3 year period, not to mention an...
Yeah, it's pretty amazing the Xbox is keeping up with the PS4 using these programming techniques even with the PS4 having 40% more power!
It's too bad the PS4 version doesn't render at 60 fps like PC which is pretty interesting given the extra GPU headroom.
My PS4 takes way longer to install and especially download off PS network. Their network is slower than molasses in Alaska.
Also PS4 plays games at 30 fps and at mediocre settings. It's definitely less than what PC can output. Multi-plat games look the best on PC.
And miraculously Ubisoft knows how to "optimize" and no one else does. This really is a new day indeed.
Two Sony shills complaining about install speed. Disc is dirty on new disc? Maybe you need to take better care of your Xbox.
These guys are jokes and the ones who approved an Xbox bashing article such as this.
It's a slight upgrade to consoles if you are blind.
What a shocker, it's from DualShockers. A Sony shill site.
They really did a good job on the XB1 version. I mean, interactive foliage was one of the features he was excited about, that he had to rewind it 10+ times to make sure we saw it but still doesn't work for everything in game.
When he said look closely I was expecting to see some game changing differences, but both versions are so close that anyone picking it up Xbox will have a great experience and aren't missing much.
Except both MS and Crystal Dynamics said it wouldn't be exclusive to XB1 days after they made the deal and that it would release on PC early 2016. Then all the Sony fans reminded us constantly that it wasn't exclusive.
You guys have been sad all this time? Maybe we can start a group therapy session for gamers who are being traumatized by the console war and now have PSTD.

I need to be able to remove games I no longer use, demos etc. Please add this feature back.
I found the Sony store and settings waaaay move unintuitive to navigate aside from the initial "start" screen. Everything was buried and a chore to get to.
And some wonder why gamers have no game...
