The differences in architecture is not the problem. The Need for Speed: Most Wanted U was ported from a PC build. The developers also stated that the porting was very easy using the PC assets. The problem is the lack of motivation or effort to program these games for the Wii U. Once the Wii U starts picking up sales, 3rd party support would come back or find some other ways to complain as to why they couldn't bring it to the Wii U. As mush as I hate to say this, most 3rd party will only g...

Worried about used games? Make better games with great replay value. Don't make a game repetitive like shooters. Make an actual game that is unique and never though out before. Seriously, the reason why most games are traded off are because of it's over use of genre, no replay value, lack of effort, and lack of creativity. So many shooters in the market today that it loses its value.

Guys didn't you notice the word "currently"? That means not at this time, but probably in the future. There may be question about "why not now?", but they could be thinking on probably getting as much quality indie developers in the West and then go to the East. I hope that they have something up there sleeves as to why they are doing this. Although, there are more indie devs in the West than the East.

First off, Pikmin 3 won't boost the sales of Wii U by a long shot, but it absolutely will move more consoles. Pikmin 3 is only the start of improving the Wii U's momentum in sales. The Wii U never needed any saving, they just needed to release more games for us spoiled kids (probably disagrees with this). The Wii U is going to be fine. Nintendo, out of the Big Three, is the only company that has a different aurora for gaming. Their games comfort you and bring you to a whole new dimens...

Well honestly Pikmin 3 itself won't save the Wii U. It will contribute to the Wii U's future success however alongside the 1st and non half-baked 3rd party games.

One of the things I like about Nintendo Network is that it's free. So it's a good strategy to buy most multiplayer games like Call of Duty for the Wii U and single player games for the PS4 that I pre-ordered. What about you?

Yeah I like open world games also because it's very fun to explore and find out new things in the environment. All I was trying to point out was that I hope that PS4 won't have too much shooters. They are fun but there are too much and most of their replayability is very low. In the future hopefully PS4's line-up wouldn't go to the way of the Xbox One which has a lot of shooters. I already have a Wii U and I already know that there will be diversity in it's library in the ...

Would also suck IF the PS4 and Xbox One games are going to be easy to emulate after all, it like PC to PC anyways.

So basically PS4 and Xbox One are PC's under a console's disguise, and the only true console is the Wii U?

4720d ago 4 agree7 disagreeView comment

All I can say is that there are too many FPS and too little other genres in the PS4's line-up.

Once their exclusive games come out each month starting with August (with the help of 3rd parties), the sales of the Wii U will most likely skyrocket. I doubt a price cut will be announced as Nintendo is already taking a loss for selling each Wii U's and only gain profit if the consumer buys at least 1 game for the Wii U. I think they gain $10 profit from the Wii U with a game (not bundled), which *could* mean that the Wii U costs as much as $380-$400 to manufacture! What I like about thi...

In my honest opinion it's not really the hardware that is most important (don't get me wrong it does matter but to a certain point). It's how you use it. My analogy : If you play the strongest character in a fighter without knowing his or her moves vs someone who picks the weakest fighter and knows their moves.............well you would most likely be beaten by the weaker fighter because his controller knows the nooks and crannies of the fighter. It's like choosing a very powe...

So......what I understand for the most part is that they took the money from people from Nintendo who bought the Dream Drop Distance from their 3DS and ripped most of them for not bringing KH3 to the Wii U which the game is not that graphicaly demanding. (Debatable)

You really think that powerful hardware defines "next-gen" ? Don't get me wrong as I'm buying a PS4 alongside my Wii U. However, better hardware doesn't sell systems software does (look at Pikmin 3). New experiences is supposed to be one of the selling points of the upcoming consoles. So far there is nothing new with PS4 just better graphics and multiple shooters, simulations, sports games, and open world games. I know that it won't always be the case, but the Wii U ...

1. Don't know why a trophy or accomplishment support is necessary since all it does is tell you how to play the game its way not your way. Anyway I heard that the next update will bring an "Accomplishment System" to the Wii U but it will be "very different from the others".

2. Social integration is already in Miiverse that are available for the ones accessible to Smartphones, tablets, and computers. I believe that the one coming to the Miiverse for Wii...

No he won't really leave them. He once told in an interview that he will teach as much Nintendo game developers as he can that way they would know what to do when he is gone. So basically he will live on in the hearts and minds Nintendo Developers and other staff from Nintendo.

Wow.....you haven't tried the Wii U yet you deem it unnecessary. To experience the truth your going to have to try the thing out. Do not base your opinions or experiences from others, please. If you actually give the system a chance there is a 50/50 chance you'll love it or hate it. Anyway I've had mine since day one and I've been enjoying my Wii U. I even pre-ordered a PS4 to accompany my Wii U (see what I did there). I don't discriminate on consoles who trying to be cons...

Actually:
Yamouchi-san (NES, SNES, N64, Gamecube) < Iwata-san (DS, Wii, 3DS, Wii U)

Iwata-san became president AFTER the Gamcube was already lauched under the jurisdiction of Yamouchi-san. Sure the Wii U had a rough start, but that doesn't imply that it will also has a bad end. Just look at the 3DS. Anyway my whole point is that the start doesn't matter. What happends in the end is all that matters.

In my understanding this is what he is trying to say:

When the Wii U was launched, many of the release games where stripped down ports of games, and many of the developers where expecting for them the sell well. It is because of the lack of effort in the ports that prevented them from selling well. We will set the momentum of the Wii U up and that should make developers more motivated to make an effort in creating a game for Wii U.

Sony took the everyone's in approach-
whether you are fortunate enough to have a stable internet connection or not. You don't have to worry about performance since it doesn't rely much in cloud computing (not that it can't do so in the future).

Microsoft took the whether you're in or you're out approach -
In order to get the benefits of the cloud, you need a constant internet connection. Who knows, in the future you're probably goin...
