Yeah where the majority of "gamers" don't know jack about video games and only want to play what is popular atm. Aka angry birds and cod. I live in the US myself and it's ridiculous the lack of video game knowledge some people here have. Sony seriously does have crappy advertising. I'm a Sony fan btw :p. They need to be more aggresive with their advertising especially in the west where most "gamers" are just people who only play things that are popular regardless of quality (cod -_-). I love playing support classes. Often times I play a support class if i'm new to a game to help my team out and at the same time learn/get used to the mechanics of the game. That way I can at least contribute something and am not just cannon fodder xD
The thing is, if the people who care about playing android games wanted to play them on a big screen tv, then they would probably already have an interest in playing real games on a system from the big three. I think as much as we like to complain about fanboyism, it really is something that is helpful for the industry as it drives competition amongst the big three. Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo all have their fanbase, and they are constantly trying to cater to that fanbase and expand at the same time.

Eh, I loved FFIX but no thanks on the Steiner. The game is going to for sure have Jak, Sackboy, Crash, possibly Spyro, it already has Toro.

It's because in mmo all the fun stuff comes during the "endgame". So the plays have to force themselves to perform tedious and repetitive tasks to even be able to get access to the good stuff. It's a design flaw. The game should be fun to play the whole way through. Think about it, we don't pay for and play through entire single player games just to get to the last level.

*Facepalm* The whole time i'm thinking to myself "just go buy a PS3". 360 became popular because of western shooters, and the original xbox's success is due to the fact they offered WESTERN rpgs normally only playable on pc's to people who couldn't afford gaming pc's. Square tried with jrpgs on the 360 and Japan basically said " lol nope, we don't care".

I've been thinking this for awhile now. You can tell Sony is THE company for gaming enthusiasts. They have been doing the best to please the core gaming audience for years. The amount of exclusives, PSN+ (so superior to Live) New IP's even this late in the gen ect. Nintendo is going to do what they always do and Microsoft looks like it's going to try to cash in on the casuals this time around.
