Totally excited for Killzone 4. Honestly I liked 2 way better than 3, 3 felt like it was far too much like CoD. 2 had it down just right.
I can't wait to see what it'll look like.

Most of these games can't in any way compare to the PS3 line up lol.
Actually I'd like to see some New IP's from Nintendo. I like a lot of their existing stuff, but seriously i'm gettin tired of Mario. I'd like to see some new exclusives this gen.
So many rumors going around. One thing is for sure though, I wish Sony luck with the PS4. I want to see it become really successful, and for the right reasons too. I want it to appeal to REAL gamers and enthusiasts who love the hobby and media, NOT because it starts to cater to casuals.
Honestly I preferred SR3 to 1 and 2. It's the over the top and non serious nature of the game that actually made me love it. I'm hoping to see more of it.

I think it's because back in the 90's gaming used to be a more niche hobby compared to the mainstream activity that it is today. Most people who played games were in fact real gamers that had a passion for the hobby and media.
Today though, a lot of "gamers" are just people who only play big blockbusters because it gets advertised/hyped up and all their friends are talking about it. Those people don't care about gaming at all and only do it to stay socia...
All that list proves is that Sony has a lot more variety in their portfolio than Microsoft does. Take a look

Because gaming was less mainstream last gen than it was this gen. This gen brought a bunch of people into the industry and most of them aren't even actual gamers.
The 360 fans I have met (and yes I realize my experiences don't represent the whole) were extremely vicious at the beginning of the gen. They were far too quick to trash the other consoles despite them not knowing anything other than the 360 is popular so therefore it must be the best.

I still say the only reason Microsoft saw any success this gen is because of how they portray themselves, and people not knowing any better. Like at E3 where all they show is multiplatform games and celebrities but still act like they are awesome.
They established themselves as the cool brand to own, but not the quality one. A lot of people I know who claim the 360 is better don't actually know jack about games. But in their mind the popular choice = the right choice.

Personally I've tried both of those games (even bought Skyrim on launch). Hated them both.
Sony is putting out better things than Microsoft, especially this late in the gen. In fact that's always been Microsofts weakness, exclusives.
Gaming media takes note of all the awesome things Sony is doing and makes articles about it. Then Microsoft fans rage and say every article praising Sony is full of fanboyism.
Tell you what, if Microsoft was putting nearly as much effort in their core fabase as Sony has been for years and we ONLY got articles talki...
Okay honestly? Playstations offers SO much more than the 360 does with it's exclusives. Sony is still pumping out new exclusives and Ips even this late in the gen.
Why anyone is a Microsoft fan is beyond me. Especially after all their Kinect bs lately.
