If Sony were to say crap about Bungie, I certainly would.
I may find Halo overhyped and rather generic, but I find Bungie's dedication to their series and their fans beyond admirable. And they know how to craft a solid and fun experience.
I've yet to SEE Sony bash Bungie, or any dev team for that matter so far. Turn 10 and MS meanwhile can't shut the hell up about the competition. Instead of talking up THEIR game, they attempt to drag down others. Kinda sad.

What I can't stand is seeing said corporations tossing around BS like a bunch of babies, and MS seems to be tossing the most. What I DO care about is flinging insults at the developers. THOSE are the people who bust their asses and work day and night to bring everyone great entertainment. They deserve respect, even if you don't like their titles, be it Bungie or in this case, Polyphony Digital.

It's unfortunate, I was looking forward to this title. I just grabbed NGS2, next was GoW Collection, then Darksiders, followed by this and finally God of War 3.
I can live without it, but since DMC4 disappointed, I wanted this to pick up the baton so to speak.

I'm playing Psychonauts right now. The atmosphere, script, characters, and level design are all great. But the actual control and mechanics are a bit... clunky. Will this happen to BL as well I wonder.

I don't care if its the year of the goat... my PS3 library swelled by 10 titles this year, and that's BEFORE I go pick up Red Faction, Batman, and Ghostbusters when they hit $30.
Next year looks to be no different, with Army of Two 2, Darksiders, GT5, FFXIII, GoW3, and more. And of course, there is bound to be some unannounced stuff.
So you can go on and on about the year of this and that, all I know is my freetime is screwed along with my wallet.
Metacritic does what it wants and is just as biased as any other outlet, and lacks consistency. Which is why I laugh at people using it to tear down titles.
