Qwark has plenty of screen time. And MBRH is... SPOILERS -
An 8bit style arcade game in the vein of Smash TV. 1 or 2 players. Left stick moves, right stick shoots. Fun diversion, oddly addictive, rather challenging. You can find it at an arcade booth in the Arena level.
Ninja Blade?
I'm so, so sorry.
Wow Serial... relax. I ask myself this... do I need a 360 to play this title. If I do not, then it's not exclusive, now is it?
I can enjoy some great 360 titles like Mass Effect and L4D without having to go out and buy a 360. So why should I spend the extra $ on a console that I frankly do not need? It doesn't make the system "worse," it just makes it pretty useless for me.
Contrary to that point, I DO need a PS3 to play titles like MGS4 and Uncharted 2. Se...
The voice acting still sucks.
Cool. The PS3 has had the best lineup of the year. If that's what "third place is" they can stay there as long as they want.
In part two they used breakable crates and wooden slats, but I too miss the rocks.
1) 2 more coop maps please?
2) 2 more competitive maps please? (Train?!)
3) More skins (guardians! schafer! that soccer kid!)
...you sound so sad cheerleading for a corporation.
MS is making money! Yay?
As long as we get a new Xbox, I don't care how much they do/don't profit. Competition FTW.
They've had the same formula for years, whereas games like Uncharted 2 and Forza attempted to improve on a solid formula.
You mean like Ratchet does as well? They take a solid, fun formula and improve upon it and refine it. When Ratchet does that, it's bad though? Look at this hypocrisy -
"This is Halo. It feels like Halo. Perhaps you’re a tiny bit weaker, and the hub structure is certainly new, but moving from area to area taking on Covenant squads is still the...
Um... outsold "worldwide" in this case means that in the entire world, for the year of 2009, more PS3's were sold than 360's. If you break it down by region, that's different.
I don't hate GTA4, but I've hardly been compelled to even finish it. Frankly, it's boring compared to San Andreas. Repetitive and lacks that variety that past GTAs had. I would have prefered 2 or 3 polished MP modes instead of a ton of mediocre ones. And the aiming STILL sucks.
Not a bad game, just not the ZOMG PERFECT title that so many critics claim it to be.
You need to record what you want yourself to do. Once you record something, it will always play back that sequence of events until you erase it or record over it on the same pad.
Step on green pad, start recording, step on button, end recording.
Step on red or blue pad, start recording, run to exit.
Why? Because the green recording is already set, and every time you replay it, it will run to that button.
Make sense?
AAA has become a media/forum buzzword that has lost all meaning because of people tossing it about.
Indeed. 90% of games are linear experiences. Considering you can explore moons at your leisure inbetween "main levels," I don't know what more they expect? Not every game is a sandbox title. Can we start marking down Madden for not having guns now too?
More of the same despite being a polished, refined experience is only a negative if its a PS3 title.
I love review politics!
This game has horrid voice acting. Really hope they allow language options.
That I agree with. SCC interests me, but not enough to buy a 360. I'd like to play it, but I'm in no rush considering my huge backlog. Should it come to PS3, i'll pick it up. If not, I won't lose sleep over it.
"If the game is eventually released 12 or 15 months later on the PS3, the only one who will care are fanboys. By then those who had played and enjoyed the game would have moved on."
I disagree. There are single console owners there who are not fanboys, who would still enjoy the title. For example, NG2 was not enough to get me to buy a 360, but I purchased and enjoy the PS3 edition. I'm not making a stink about it on message boards, because I didn't spend all this time &...
Reviews are opinions controlled by politics. Please don't take them seriously, use them to INFORM yourself, not JUDGE a title.
However, I'm not disagreeing with you. Funny how the "originality" card is being played by Gametrailers for Uncharted 2 just last week...
Not really. That was more of a sidescrolling shooter. This is a top down affair. You are basically in a large square room. You must dodge enemy shots while firing back (in 8 directions). Look up videos of Smash TV and you'll see what I mean. It's very low tech, 8bit style which makes it all the more charming.
