The drama manufactured on this site by fanboys and "victims" like yourself is pretty silly. Thanks for the entertainment.
On topic, of course there should be a sales spike, its revised hardware. To argue it is dumb.
Totally agree. But I guess I'm a bit FPS'ed out. Most MP games feel the same to me, some variant on DM or TDM. That's why I appreciate a good campaign with spectacle. The Scarabs (I think?) in Halo 3 were cool for instance.
Still, I am glad Halo strays from the 2 shots and your dead mentality that nearly EVERY FPS is using these days. Hell, they even butchered Uncharted 2's online with it.
Don't drop to that level. You're better than that.
Every game has flaws. Halo needs some more memorable boss encounters or setups, and much better finales/endings. Like I said before, Gravemind got the shaft for freaking Guilty Spark... how lame is that?
MP is solid as ever though.
Have to agree. I haven't seen anything from Move or Kinect that gives me ANY reason to buy.
They mean nothing to me personally since I've yet to see a single piece of SOFTWARE that matters.
Very true.
What I don't get is, I've yet to see the core/hardcore appeal to EITHER of these products. Yet people are still defending them to the death. Kinda sad.
"lochdoun mentioned how LIMBO is already off to a successful start thus countering the dev's comment about XBLA being a slaughterhouse. And because Joe Danger and Trials HD are similar he says keep it on PSN. "
And he did it in the most fanboyish way possible. Kudos. This is N4G, stupid BS feeds stupid BS. Haven't you learned by now?
Better "bosses"
Better finales.. ending with Guilty Spark was pretty freaking weak. Gravemind got the shaft.
It's funny that MS of all companies is playing this game, when oh so many people were quick to shoot down the cost of FULLY enjoying the 360 (and providing features on par with the competition) before the recent price cut... you know, second controller, HDD, Wifi, Xbox Live subscription.
Silly. Anyways, Move and Kinect are not for me.
More people supporting MW2 this year than GOTY contender ME2? That's disappointing to me.
Vanquish interested me the most at E3, which was mostly rehash 2009.
Yes, because dropping down to fanboy levels to make a point is CLEARLY great for the reputation of the media.
Reviews will never be unbiased.
But I don't know what's worse... the people that use reviews to judge and argue, or people like Jim who think its funny to (not deliberately, mind you) constantly expose flaws in our review system without DOING anything to improve it.
LOL. This is just pathetic now.
Let me know what happens when/if either system "wins" this gen... considering both are "fighting" for second place, and should one pass the other, absolutely NOTHING would change.
Here's an idea, why don't people stop being stupid, and go out and actually support titles that they love to toss about in here, like Alan Wake and Modnation Racers. Just a thought. Otherwise there will be nothing left to...
While clearly it's timing is retaliatory for NPD's numbers, and a reassurance post, it is quite funny that the "other side" of the fanboy battle is just as quick to decry the use of world wide sales since it doesn't suit THEM. Round and round it goes.
Still, VGChartz? I dunno. Then again, I'll be waiting for Vanquish as opposed to waiting to see if my console of choice sold more than the competition, since well... at this stage it just doesn't ...
MS talks about Sony more than Sony does still. Silly.
For the record, neither Move nor Kinect interests me at this stage due to the lack of promised "revolution." Sorry.
*grabs popcorn*
Who will entertain me most this thread?
Jaguar.
I have to agree.
I want to play games online. That's it. If my friends are in my party, we'll chat.
I do NOT want to be in the middle of a crazy moment in Ninja Gaiden, while my buddy talks about that headshot he got in CoD.
