Yup. Modnation and Alan Wake suffer, UC2 and ME2 don't do nearly as well as they deserve... but people love to argue about how amazing their exclusives are.
Then no one buys them. Ah fanboys. Message boards and sales arguments...
That's rather short sighted and pretty much condemns every sequel ever made.
I agree, look at pricing. But you guys DO realize that game budgets are massive ($20 - 80 million, and increasing each gen) as making all of this HD content isn't quick or easy.
Also, it's not as simple as "lower the price." If someone can easily steal something, they will. Piracy is bad any way you slice it.
No thank you. MW2 turned me off to the series.
Bring on Vanquish and Castlevania.
This is a double edged sword of a situation. Now they'll rely on "sure sellers," which means get ready to see RE and SF milked to death.
So did they update that 2 million undertrack yet?
Don't waste your time. Common hater.
Go go Bungie go. Knock it outta the park.
I'm glad he stuck with it though.
It's a pity that a learning curve is seen as a bad thing in gaming today. I find them rewarding when its not a victim of poor design... but people seem to want everything handed to them sadly.
But top 10 lists, flamebait articles, versus articles, and editorials about how X system/game suck/are doomed ARE news to you Urmom?? Howabout people like HHG who use their friends to get the worst tripe admitted instantly?
Face it, N4G's submissions are a joke, and NEWS around here disappeared long, long ago. Yelling at one guy for it is silly when the whole site is a cesspool of pisspoor journalism.
I give this guy credit for making something funny.
Lowpoint was free consoles for everyone. So transparent.
No u!
Indeed. More top 10 articles, more vs articles instead!
Those are much more funnierish.
;-)
Most devs DO have healthy competition though. It's the fanboys and media that often twist it.
Fair, well balanced difficulty should never be considered an "issue" in a game, IMHO.
Crap's too easy these days, and too painfully dumbed down.
Perjoss - Would be nice, but not financially viable. Blizzard has practically unlimited resources right now. Also, putting that much $ into a new IP would be almost impossible. Look at how many new IPs, that are well polished, still tank after release. It's a rough gamble for devs.
When will the $20 mappacks be confirmed?
Wow. Baltis trolls at least 2 sites, here and Gamefaqs, under the same name. Pretty sad.
On top, we all know Uncharted 3 is coming.
I realize that. I just wonder how people can SKIP games due to a lack of Trophy support. Personally, I'd love to see a return to the days where finding everything/completing a task unlocked something (weapon, costume, easter egg). It seems that kind of design is falling by the wayside. Like anything, there are devs who do great things, and terrible things with them.
Bigger maps (too many choke points with 32p in KZ2)
Rebalance assault class
Let me destroy enemy spawns
No more spawns on top of objectives
