@shivvy24
This is hacking at the corporate level. It's a huge deal. This guy could be doing much more malicious things that they don't know about with the type of access he has.
In the wrong hands, this could be devastating, and Microsoft is among the world's (if not #1) largest computer/electronics companies in the world.
It's like stealing from Barack Obama! Haha
I wonder if the PS4 is going to have the same cloud computation offload the Xbox One has been confirmed to support. I'd really like to know this answer since I am buying both but haven't decided yet which will be my main console. This could be a major factor, if the Xbox One is slightly less powerful than the PS4 the Cloud Offloading may offset this to the Xbox One's advantage...
But who knows, I don't know much about computers and how things work someone HELP...
Just like CrimsonStar mentioned, it's probably become to much of a synonymous sound for the brands. Sort of like how Sony has always used that "PFTVVV" (FAIL I KNOW LOL) sound in their commercials when the PS logo pops up.
Maybe they could update the sound, but make it sound similar/familiar (Both Achievements and Trophies)
Great idea. There could be some really good ones to use for this :p
UPDATE: It looks like you will be able to carry over your profile, friends list and achievements to the Xbox One but the expanded friends list will remain on the Xbox one.
There now you don't have to open the link
Who's to say Sony isn't watching either. Both companies can say what they want, who knows what really to believe.
@Hatrsune-Miku I'm getting a PS4 day one but seriously, get off Sony's reproductive organ cus I gotta say Xbox One has a good lineup as well! I've found Sony's exclusives to just never really live up to the hype I had for them (Resistance, Infamous, GT). Killzone has to be one of the few Playstation games worth buying a PS4 for. Well, that and DriveClub.
I'm also enoying the downvotes on both of our comments. I am buying both systems, I guess people just assume I am an Xbox fanboy when I call out articles that are clearly a little bit ridiculous.
Playstation diehards can do no wrong.
For me, it remains to be seen whether Xbox One or PS4 will be my main console. Both preordered, but I just am not sure yet till I get my hands on both. Gotta stay open minded, none of this senseless bashing that goes on on N...
Actually pretty funny but come on..How does this article get a approved!? You have a 100% guarantee that if this had anything to do with Sony there'd be a huge N4G user backlash
You sir, echo my thoughts the last two years. Now is the time I figure. With the power of the PS4 and Xbox One a new WWII game could really bring FPS to a whole new level. I remember when I was 11 and played CoD 2 on an Xbox 360 demo station. Never had I ever seen such a glorious sight (me being a huge history buff and owning a Gamecube last gen).
I can only imagine reliving that moment again. Sometimes the best stories to tell are the ones routed in reality. Not to mention t...
**Both controllers, with slightly more excitement for the Xbox One controller. The Xbox 360 controller fit and felt so amazing in my hands. The DualShock has always felt subpar to me. Hopefully the DualShock 4 fixes these issues
Loving how you speak the truth and you get downvoted. It's unfortunate how idiotic the Sony kids are on this website. (Coming from a guy who is going with both the Xbox One and PS4)
Personally think they should go back to what made them great - Their WWII games. Fondest moments had in gaming originated with MoH Frontlines and Rising Sun.
Time with the new power found in the upcoming consoles to tell these stories again I say.
That's the one thing that could bring MoH back to it's greatness, break from the mold and go back to WWII instead of Modern Shooter like everyone did after CoD 4
Fable MMO!! Project Gotham Racing is apparently being made as I speak! Brothers In Arms (even though it's not exclusive)
I am sure there are mobile games out there that are worth playing for an extended period of time but to me, the people I talk to that play lots of games on their phones or whatever only play them when they have nothing else to do and are waiting for something.
Ex/ Stuck at an airport waiting to board a flight, or taking a break while at work.
I don't see how it's possible that console games are being hurt by Facebook or mobile games.
...
Definitely looking forward to the Beta and Battlefield 4!! I loved Battlefield 3 and I expect that Battlefield 4 will continue to impress and bring it's A game in the FPS genre.
@MysticStrummer
Learn to read!! I just told you that I agreed that the PS3 has outsold the Xbox 360 by a slight margin. If Sony's many exclusives and console were so far superior...this shouldn't even be a conversation. The PS3 should have outsold the Xbox 360 by a very large margin based on those statements.
It hasn't, and when the PS3 first came out it was the cheapest Blu Ray player for over a year and many people buy it for that, as well as t...
I don't see how this will be the case again for the next gen. The only reason they left it was because they only saw need to update it a little bit to remain on top of the FPS category. It obviously worked, much to my disdain. It also made them boatloads of money without having to invest heavily in an engine that would become obsolete and put them behind the competition when they would need to make a PS4/XboX CoD game down the road...forcing them to update the engine again on top of the h...
The only reason the bar on this article is "doubtful" is all the Sony fans that want to keep saying the same thing of:
"Microsoft's only exclusives are GOW, Halo, and Forza"
@MariaHelFutura
Yeah it's not the greatest, but it's better than having PERMANENTLY DEAD or low charge PS3 controllers...Personally I'd like to have chargeable like the PS3 but the Xbox 360 controller and (surprisingly..) the battery pack worked really well in my hands. A perfect fit.
