Sully, you can't be serious. So when I bought a launch PS4, it was misleading for Sony to have Infamous: Second Son on the back? Because that game wasn't available at launch, not for another 4 months. Does that mean Sony mislead me in thinking that I'd have that game day 1 at launch?

Good point. My friend was sorta late to this current gen, and went out and bought an Xbox One with Halo on disc and was not prepared for the game install then they updates they had to download on top of it all to then play the game...as well as having bad internet. Never fun to have to wait.
Sony gets a free pass from NealGamby last gen when they sold the controller before the console, because they "have more exclusives" I'm going to assume.
I feel like that would be playing the hand too soon. They will keep the focus on the Next Gen launch and PSVR 2.0 will be down the road a couple years from now I imagine

Well said, they won't need to use a show as their launching pad for the pricing and preorder date info. They can do exactly what Microsoft was forced to do. Not only this, but Sony has cultivated and nurtured a massive following with the PS4 and since Microsoft has now gone first, all eyes are on the Sony camp. The moment they post anything that thing is going to trend and reach a wide audience.

Well I mean if you currently own the Xbox One S like I do, it would be fair to assume they will take what they already do to the next level. I have downloaded the HDR versions of a couple of the main games I play, and that takes up a fair amount extra space. You'd think the Series S/X will continue that trend where you can download the standardized version of the game and the X gets the option for the extra download space for the higher scale full 4k game.
This is great news and I hope that is able to bring some parity between the Series X and PS5

See I wonder that too, but you know there's still the potential of some sort of stacked release where maybe the game ships to current gen first, then comes to Next gen later that month. Kind of like how PS4 was out a week (I think it was a week?) before Xbox One.
Same I hope so too, I was really disappointed to see this is VR exclusive, but I never considered well maybe it will come to PSVR 2.0 down the road
I got so excited, until I saw it's VR only. Like yeah that super cool and all, but I was really hoping to one day see Medal of Honour get rebooted with the WWII setting. Those games were so good when I was young.
This game nor this studio can afford any other hits in the PR department. It HAS to release this year. Even as a diehard Halo fan who wants to see the game done perfectly, I just want to see them release without any further complications or embarrassment.

Sometimes I like the PS4 UI, sometimes I wish it would finally get a complete revamp and move it out of the 2005 PSP vibes I get from it. My favourite thing however, was the dynamic themes like the BF1 theme I have carried throughout since that game's preorder. That is so cool.
