"You thought you needed space before? SURPRISE"
"Order the extra special IneedSpace edition now and get external hard drive space in order to play this game, only $249.99!"
Must be the generation I come from. None of my friends or I care as long as it's over 30fps I can't hardly see a difference. Anything over 60fps is overkill anyways unless you're gettin sweaty every match trying to be the next big MLG star
Congrats on the PS5. I got lucky and was able to snag an XSX back before launch but with the PS5 it's been absolute hell on earth trying to find one. I keep missing the tweet updates for stock in Canada and by the time I see an update they sold out 10 mins prior.
I am actually interested in this. Once upon a time Xbox had the far superior dashboard for quite some time. I haven't gotten a PS5 yet so I don't have an opinion on that, but I actually really enjoyed the PS4 dash even if it was "dated". I loved the dynamic themes like the BF1 theme that I always had on there and would like to see something as cool on Xbox (the background moving, the music in the background, the changing icons with the theme).

You sound just like me. Also excited for this because you'd think they'd benchmark it against the gold Wireless/Pulse 3D Sony headsets...I had the Gold headset for my PS4 and it is sad to admit that I prefer the sound on that over the $220+ Arctis 9x especially in the loudness/bass levels
aragon I mean you're not wrong, they did botch the reveal. Wasn't a very good look, but I feel they have been very transparent since in explaining what went wrong and they steps they've undertaken to gain our trust already.
Your comment remains almost useless seeing as they delayed the game to address (legitimate) concerns, and unless you have a crystal ball how can you know it WON'T be "a F*** hit"? Perhaps you should wait just a little longer as we have now begun the information and reveal trickle towards it's new release date.
Just a couple thoughts.
I honestly would have thought this would be the plan all along. To get someone like him in the fold with the BF franchise. A great manouver to add an industry legend on a legendary franchise for it's "reboot" if you can call what sounds like might be a soft reboot in BF6.
Your work will live on forever. Rest in peace.
RIGHT?! That was the secret sauce that made Battlefield games so enjoyable. The silly, yet amazing moments you could create.
I've actually been wondering about this for non optimized games such as Halo 5, where it has issues when you quick resume, fire up the game, or come back to it after having the Series X in instant power on mode. It routinely has issues which is partly the dedicated server fault of Halo 5 (which is the message I have to receive before it magically works again).
Hopefully that is fixed too.
Let me just scroll the comments, I'm sure there isn't gonna be any excessive Sony fanboyism in the comments...

I'm glad I chose to read this spoiler in an IGN article before having it absolutely ruined by a headline, this should be taken down. Not cool for others who didn't know this and didn't want the easter egg spoiled.
This is actually so exciting!
really miss playing Perfect Dark N64. I put a lot of hours into that game as a kid playing multiplayer against the AI!
Yeah not sure where I got the disagree on this, I just think given the actual "day 1" next gen console assets + feeling like I've got lots to play until then seems logical.
I want to have the best experience from the first time through.
That is the one thing that has me really jealous I stuck with Xbox this gen for now. I have a PS4 Pro and LOVED it. I think the DualSense controller really looks like it has a leg up and is a "true next gen" controller versus the lightly revised Xbox Series controller in my hand right now.
PS5 down the road I guess, they're literally impossible to find so far.
as much as it pains me I am just gonna wait for the actual PS5/XSS/X launch
I actually haven't checked the console after a heavy game session because I literally can't hear it operating, versus my Xbox One S which has a noticeable whir to it almost like a car engine haha. The Xbox Series X has been incredible thus far and appears to be unnoticeable during play sessions at least for me.
This was honestly so much fun back in the day. The fact they are finally bringing it back (sorta) is just so awesome
This is just a sneaky way for them to bring back the Boomerang controller from the PS3 reveal era, isn't it?
