@dockness, if you're referring to the smoking video that I saw on twitter today, I can't believe how many are falling for it and arguing over it. You can clearly see at the bottom right of the screen someone off camera blows the vapour behind the console and then it goes up and through it!
Now that's amazing. Well done Sony
Haha thank you, but mine is coming from Burnaby BC, all the way through what I presume is a lot of snow and bad weather to AB. It's going to take a week according to the estimates I got this morning. RIP launch day Series X box opening and excitement. Haha.
@NEXUS-6 A Ferrari and an Audi both have 4 wheels, an engine, some performance, and go places. Does that mean they are they same? Do they occupy the same position in the market? No of course not. The Series S isn't even designed to match the PS5 capabilities, much like my example above, merely undercut it and sell more units or convince people to come to Microsoft. That's all I'm saying, hence the iPhone example. I don't understand why this is so contested, the PS5 digital is ...
I'm really excited to see what exactly this game may be. I am happy that they are taking their time, as much as it pains me to want to see a new IP and the next TES, with next gen technology we will all win when these finally roll out.
I'm not sure why people don't understand the Series S occupies a space in the Console market that ISN'T supposed to be the top tier. It's like Apple with iPhone:
iPhone 12 = Xbox Series S
(A natural transition from Xbox One/Xbox One S with what capabilities it offers)
iPhone 12 Pro = Xbox Series X
(For those that want the top of the line complete experience, coming over from Xbox One/Xbox One S/Xbox One X that want THE ...
It's hard to remember because it feels soooo long ago, but I really enjoyed the Crysis 3(?) multiplayer, it was fun
Yeah that's so true. I tried so hard to get a PS5 Digital edition but I just wasn't able to. I realized I still really love playing BF1 or Fall Guys or what have you, so I can just save my money for now until I find a PS5 again. Who knows, maybe there will be an attractive bundle by the time I am able to find one! I think I was just disappointed because I was hoping to finally try Ghost of Tsushima on next gen hardware.
My PS4 Pro isn't quite "jet" level, but if I fire up BF1 it sure does get pretty dang noisy. Heats the room up nicely after about only 30 minutes of game time too. Haha
@fr0sty Wait what? I did not realize that
Marketing a console launch is incredibly important, and they turned what was an insult meme into something they owned and made fun of themselves with.
That's incredible. That's how you market in 2020 and beyond. By interacting with consumers and being "in" on meme culture!!
That's just another way to increase your visibility before a very important launch. Also, they were trending on social media because of it!
Hop...
I have been so interested in this since we first heard about it. Xbox took a nice step with rumble triggers I felt...they are actually helpful when you're playing a game like Forza and getting a feel for how your car is performing.
Sony has taken it to a whole other level and I think the possibilities here for immersion could really be applied in cool ways like I mentioned above BUT BETTER! This is something I wish Microsoft themselves had improved upon as well for next...
Nice! Couldn't secure a PS5 Digital preorder so my PS4 Pro will soldier on for a while. Meanwhile, I will jump into next gen with XSX which I was able to secure after hours of scrambling!
WHAT? So Much Yes
Those downvotes are trying so hard to find a negative somehow. I don't understand people.
My bros keep giving me so much crap for having a ROG gaming laptop but preferring console gaming ESPECIALLY for FPS games like CoD or BF, and then wonder why this is the case for me.
I have always found FPS games on PC to be so full of cheaters and twitchy 9000 Sensitivity tryhards that I just can't. Their response is always "well...getgud son"
I don't think people realize the amount of R&D that goes into creating the next product. It often takes many years.
There's a lot of questionable things the game did, coupled with the sheer disappointment of battles and set pieces that make no sense and passed off as a WWII game. It just didn't feel like the DICE we know and love who actually care about their game. I'll give them a bit of credit for the Iwo Jima map being fun, but I quickly dropped off the game and went back to spending TONS of hours in BF4 and BF1
As a Canadian, I hope not Canada. Unless they had some way to condense the best driving areas like the Rocky Mountains, there's a whole lot of filler. Def not a prime location next imo
Well, clearly you haven't been on N4G for very long then. This page used to be (still kinda is) a Playstation site
