I like flexibility. Yes, I love the convenience of download and whatnot but where I live (Canada) download speeds aren't insanely good unless you pay the big $$$$ for that quality of service and even "unlimited data" still gets you throttled after like 400-500gb/month so I love that next gen will still have the option for discs. Flexibility just helps people like myself in this situation, even if in later years I have been buying more games digitally.
I just R...
Don't you guys know it's the internet, people are always out there willing to talk down on stuff and waste everyone's time. Plus it's N4G where being a Microsoft troll the last 4-5 years earns you God tier praise and approval.
So far I am actually incredibly excited and hopeful now. The game FINALLY looks modern, and a step in the right direction towards "boots on the ground, reality based gameplay". This could be something I could invest my time in if it isn't absolutely insanely arcadey like COD has been since like what anything after Modern Warfare 2, BLOPS 1 it became a trainwreck for me
Man I really hope this game goes in a new direction, COD has just been so dead to me for a long time. Single player is fine but I just can't do multi anymore I am so over it. Hoping for a complete reboot with this game to bring back COD to some of it's former glory.
I actually really enjoy the large pad on PS4 controllers, I find it more intuitive than expected but the problem is nobody really uses it in a unique way it seems like. Just like Sixaxis, devs stop caring about it or something
Exactly. Nintendo has always done things a little differently and that is what works for them and their fanbase is happy with that. The Switch is most definitely RELEVANT you can't brush this thing off especially with how well it has sold. Nintendo making a huge turnaround since the Wii U. I may not own one but I am definitely interested at some point!
I really just want another Killzone completely rebooted and boldy reimagined with the power of PS5. I know Sony can make that game great again. I used to be so jealous of my PS2/3 owning friends when I had a Gamecube then Xbox 360 and couldn't play one of my all time favourite games
*16: Mercenaries 2
I'm really excited for this game and I definitely do download some games online but for these absolutely massive games that might end up being even higher for download space by the time it comes out....I'd just much rather have the disc and save my data cus where I live (Western Canada) even having "unlimited data" you still get capped if you use more than liike 400GB/Month which happens pretty frequently and will happen more often now with 4K streaming on youtube and netfli...
I disagree on the Xbox One X part. If you're late to the game I think your best bet is to just stick to an OG Xbox One or Xbox One S. The X does NOT make sense if you're gonna be a guy interested in Scarlett once it drops or at least this way you have lots of time to be saved up and ready for the Scarlett by that time or 1 year post release kinda thing! I see the Xbox One X as the device for the hardcore gamer or Microsoft fan that wants THE best experience currently for 4K console ga...
Better performance, yeah at a cost though. A couple of my friends gave AMD a try and have had nothing but issues cus they run too hot or they can't plug into their tv because of the power limiting or whatever. Have a friend in IT and his company tells everyone to steer well clear of AMD. I was surprised. I'm not super technical if you couldn't tell. haha
According to Imortus_san only what you officially announce is considered shifting focus, make sure you note this people! Wouldn't want to be working on literally any project without first announcing it because everything must be signalled the moment work begins (looooool)
Next generation could really truly be defined by pop in pop out gameplay with zero load times and incredible graphics and AI. I am so hopeful for this to be delivered on by Sony and Microsoft!!
I'll never forget watching....RiiiiiIIIIIIDDDDGE EE RACCCERRRRRR
Yeah keep telling yourself what you need to hear in order to justify gouging your customers EA. Pfft.
Gotta agree with everything you said. Halo aside from Halo 5 brought with it an amazing singleplayer campaign with each game and you knew you were in for a real treat whether it was the singleplayer/co-op aspect or the online multiplayer with it's amazing depth and many different modes. I for one typically stick to standard game types, but Halo was THE game that convinced me to literally try everything and play with friends because it was the most fun you could possibly have online out of...
I honestly believe if Halo migrates to a competitor, the entire reason to own an Xbox (not considering PC) becomes irrelevant in a sense - yes there's still Forza and Gears, but THE face of your namesake is no longer an exclusive experience.
I honestly just feel like because it's the thing to do these days, writers and reporters and whoever it may be are just playing into the sentiment of the day because it generates controversy and extra clicks.
It's a war game and CoD is trying to get back to a grittier, more reality based setting. What is wrong with that? Why are video games suddenly crucified for wanting to be realistic and generate an emotional response, but movies and TV shows get a free pass for ...

I am still going into this with sobered eyes because COD WWII burned me HARD. I really thought I'd enjoy that game so I bought the season pass and all. Worst $140? I've ever spent in my life.
