The snow piles are disappointing, but also not very common. I think the water looks good.
I've yet to see a game that does really really great water. At least when it comes to how it reacts to a person going through it. AC: Black Flag had a spectacular looking ocean, but it still looked weak when you swam in it.
This is truly the best looking game I've ever seen. There is so much going on that it is hard to appreciate it all.
I really love the game.
The game follows the basic open world formula for sure. I got some flack for saying it is very much like a Ubisoft open world game, and at it's core, it is. But it's the best damn one I've seen.
And the combat is really something else. There is so much more to it than just "...
Ghost Recon looks really nice, for sure. I haven't seen it maxed out on a PC, but Horizon sets a pretty high bar.
Which one looks better to you? Because I haven't seen one that can match it.
Give it a rest already, Witcher 3 is garbage.
I haven't had a single issue, but I bought digitally, and I've also only booted the game up once. It's been playing or suspended ever since. lol
I love suspend/resume. My favorite feature of both consoles this gen.
Lock on?
Why would you need a lock on?
I'm sure this will probably get me a ton of downvotes, but Horizon is a Far Cry game. Or as close as you can be to being a Far Cry game without being a direct copy.
Don't get me wrong, I love Far Cry, and I love the first 6 hours or so of this that I have played, but anyone claiming it is something unique has blinders on. This is a Ubisoft game with better graphics and a more emotional storyline.
I just wonder if all the Ubisoft haters will be a...
Played for probably about 6 hours so far, and I'm loving it.
The previews saying it is like a Far Cry game were not exaggerating, it is EXACTLY like a Far Cry game, only in 3rd person.
Don't get me wrong, that is not a complaint, the last 3 Far Cry games are some of my favorite games in recent years.
And it is beautiful to look at. Boy is it ever gorgeous.
I'm not sold on this game pass either, honestly. I think it is fine idea but it's value is going to hinge 100% on how quickly games appear in the game pass.
The real value of game pass is going to come down to how fast new games become available.
If the majority of big games start showing up within a few months, suddenly it becomes a no brainer.
"5 Reasons why I am desperate for something to write about and drive clicks to my site"
I was going to wait, but I decided I can't, so I started downloading it this morning before I went to work. lol
Almost time to go home. :)
Would you expect anything more than that from Kojima?
That's all he does is put out incomprehensible nonsense, but millions of people love it, so whatever.
I would say nonsensical storylines, but apparently everyone else loves his variety of nonsense, so I'm in the minority.
Well, it's less about hiding it, and more about not having anyone to share it with.
If I thought somebody would come in and say "sweet statue of Kratos, I love those games", I would probably buy collectors editions.
But literally every person I know except my girl that lives with me wouldn't get it.
It's made up and completely not in the game. This website is absolute trash just pushing an agenda.
It's about time somebody decided not to announce a game 2 years before it came out.
I love this. As soon as I know it's a real thing, it's already almost time. I wish more devs would take this approach.
I used to buy these things and then I realized how useless all of the statues and stuff like that are to me. I don't display them anywhere in my house because my girlfriend and I are the only ones that would get it. Every single person that would come in my house would ask, and I'd have to explain over and over what they were and why I had them, and I'd much rather just have a plain "normal" house and not have to answer questions like that. lol
Well I'm not sure what category I fall into, then. I'm certainly not a hater. I compared it to Far Cry. I mean, at it's core, the base game shares a lot with the basic Ubisoft formula. Saying that is not a negative statement. It's just a comparison. And I love Far Cry and most Ubisoft games for that matter, so I definitely do not mean it as a slight.
Now, with that said, I love Horizon, and I would place it above most, if not all, of those games that it...
