Just going to remind everyone that I've been predicting the failure of VR for well over a year.
It's still very early and I can't definitively answer the question of whether the imminent failure has already begun, but to quote the Magic 8 Ball...
"All signs point to yes."
The tax issue likely varies by state and/or country, and it's not something the MS chooses to do.
I used to not pay any tax on Amazon.com, but then they opened a distribution center in my state and now I have to pay state sales tax.
Trump got elected because the country went to hell in the last 8 years, while Obama and his cronies were worried about super important things like whether two girls could get married or whether a guy can decide he's a girl and use the ladies room.
The last 8 years has been one giant disgrace.
I'm glad the people came together and said enough is enough.
2 things of note...
1. Can you call it a chair if it sits on the floor? If I throw a pillow on the floor and then sit on it, it's not a chair.
2. Is it just me or do the pictures of it with nobody sitting in it look a little... um... phallic?
The only people that think anything needs to be "fixed" aren't going to be pleased by anything MS does anyway, so who cares?
Going by what I've seen and what they did with Dishonored and Dishonored 2, I have really high hopes. :)
Why does everyone nitpick the MS website and make a story about every little change?
I use my Kinect every day for voice commands.
It also sees me and signs me in.
I could give that up, but I'd hate to give up the voice commands.
So Nintendo is intentionally reducing stock on an item that isn't even available yet, and they must be lying when they say it is selling well.
But Sony tells you that they are having manufacturing problems, and they can't possibly be lying, it must be true.
Seems legit.
It's fascinating to me how differently people can see the same things.
To me there is nothing the least bit cluttered in the Xbox UI. It utilizes the whole screen, everything has a place and a purpose, it's remarkably well designed. I think it's easily better than the 360 UI, which makes it my favorite ever.
90% of the "ads" that everyone complains about are just links to certain things in the store. Weekly deals, games with gol...
Got it last night and I love the new guide. Love that you can access your pins and everything from the guide now.
My only complaint would be that they got rid of the big box that would hold your current game or app when you reverted to the home screen. It used to be that if you were watching TV, for instance, it would keep playing and you could hear it even if you went over to the community or store tab, but it seems like now everything is 100% "suspended" when ...
The pro controller is as close to being "required" as any accessory ever can be.
I would NEVER, repeat NEVER, want to use those crappy little joycon things. They look tiny and awful.
I didn't think it was going to be worth buying even before I heard about always online.
I've yet to see a melee focused game that can do multiplayer and make it work.
Other than 1 vs 1 of course.
Where are all these Ads that you guys are seeing?
There is usually one on the right side of the home screen. Where are the rest of them?
Unless you are counting the links to their own store as Ads, but I don't see any problem with them letting me know something is on sale.
I remember hearing this same thing from you guys about the 360 dashboard. I didn't get it then and I don't get it now.
Scalebound looked awful.
I'm not saying I'm glad it was cancelled, and I'm not saying I'm happy about whatever it is they are doing at MS HQ, but Scalebound did not look like a good game at all.
Nintendo is lost in their own little world.
They are clueless.
There was a smoking button when you were in cover, and when you tossed the cigarette away the robot enemies would target it briefly.
It was an actual gameplay mechanic, besides just something for show in the cutscenes.
Maybe for you.
If you are accustomed to driving with your feet, you wouldn't want to change it.
What's there to get sick of?
Just ignore them like I do, and let the people that enjoy them keep enjoying them.
Built in batteries are the bane of current technology.
