I liked this game, but the first two were in a whole different league.
If the first two games were 8.5's, this one should have been about a 6 or 6.5.
Good, but FAR from great.
Which makes me sad because inFAMOUS is my favorite PS franchise.
I'm absolutely shocked that anyone... ANYONE... Would think this is the best of the three inFAMOUS games.
I love inFAMOUS. They are my favorite PS3 games by a mile. And this game, while 'good', is nowhere near as good as the first two games were.
In terms of story and the main character, Cole was just flat-out a better hero. He had the weight of the world on his shoulders. He didn't want to be the hero, but he knew that nobody else coul...
I hate this guy SO much.
Him and that Fez guy are the reason I don't take indie games seriously.
They are pretentious hipsters that somehow think they are superstars because they made one game that a few people thought was decent. I hate their attitudes.
Really??
I liked it and all but the first two games were way better.
Better story, MUCH better characters... Hell even the powers were better in 1 and 2.
Other than the graphics I just thought this one was a huge step back.
And it's SOOOOOOO short. I platinumed it over the first weekend.
Again, not saying it was bad, it was just disappointing after the greatness of the first two games.
Agreed. There wasn't one game of those six that interests me at all.
funny lol
Once a project is funded by Kickstarter there is no way to "back out".
Even if a company folds and never produces anything at all, you have no recourse.
That is why Kickstarter sucks, it's a total gamble.
One thing that really bugged me about Delsin was that he was basically just the leader of the Saints from the last couple Saints Row games.
Same voice actor of course, but he was quite literally playing the same character, at least when you were out and about during gameplay, not so much the cutscenes.
"Believe it or not alot of people i know have buyers remorse with their ps4."
Count me in. I've barely used the thing since launch day.
I played both sides of Infamous:SS over the weekend and got my platinum trophy. My second plat ever, with the first being from the original infamous.
I love infamous as a series, but Second Son was terrible by comparison to the first two games.
I liked Cole better. I also liked Cole's powers better.
This article is obviously a joke, but unfortunately he is actually totally correct about the side missions, or lack thereof. They are terrible.
I forgot to mention that the lack of enemy variety was a letdown as well.
For the most part you are fighting the exact same guys from start to finish, and that's it.
I got my Platinum last night.
I loved the game, but it seemed awfully short and lacking on content compared to the first two games.
The lack of side missions was particularly disappointing to me. And please don't tell me that following a signal tracker for 30 seconds to pick up an audio file can be considered a side mission. lol
The worst was the "hidden cameras". Some of those were literally like 2 seconds long if you were o...
Mile High Club is one of my favorites, as well.
I think that one is probably on a lot of player's lists.
I love the game, but it can't hold a candle to the first or second game, IMO.
I agree. I hate everything about the touchpad. I just don't understand why they even used it.
There are two perfectly good sticks that can be depressed as buttons but we aren't using those at all. It's really aggravating.
Game rules, though. I'm 2/3 of the way through it the second time already. lol
I'll be so glad when the new consoles are old enough that people stop incorrectly using the phrase "next gen" over and over and over.
Quote from the article: "What's going to be "next-gen" about this fresh entry? Are they calling it that simply because they're designing it with the next-gen consoles as the barometer?"
Why yes, they ARE calling it "next gen" because it's on a "next gen console. THA...
Calling us "stupid and idiotic" seems a little unnecessary.
Some people enjoy beta testing. Just because you don't, doesn't make it wrong or "stupid".
I like doing it because I like getting access to new features early and seeing the evolution of the system first hand. It's fun for me.
In the unlikely event that it would somehow kill my console, it wouldn't be the end of the world, I would go buy another on...
All of you guys saying "more players!!!" and "no bots!!!" Have no idea what you are talking about.
You aren't asking for a Titanfall game, you're asking for something completely different.
If you think it needs more players and/or no AI to be fun, you either haven't played it, or you just simply do not like Titanfall and never will.
You're entitled to your opinions, and what you are asking for is fine, b...
No, they aren't 100% realistic, but they are BASED in realism. Real weapons, real vehicles, etc...
You die after a couple bullets instead of 30 because your overshield absorbed the first 25.
Yes, they could go even further towards realism, but they would also be going further towards SUCKING. lol
