You should give it a shot.
It's not nearly as intrusive or annoying as I thought it would be.
It's kinda fun, and even if you lose, all it affects is your online notoriety.
You don't lose money or anything that affects your single player game.
To me it is similar to the random crimes that can happen right as you walking down the street. I always chase the guy down and forget whatever I was actually on my way to ...
Is it just me or is the invasion thing really balanced to favor the defensive side?
I have not successfully hacked anyone. Nor has anyone successfully hacked me. I don't even know what happens when a hack succeeds. lol
The search zone is just SO tiny by the time you get near the end I can't imagine NOT finding the guy. I even got hacked next to a 3 level parking garage once and found the guy.
Yeah the gunplay beats the pants off of any GTA game ever.
I disagree about the driving, though. I see a lot of people complaining about the driving, and I don't get it.
I think the driving is great. It's not over the top realistic of course, but I wouldn't want it to be. It's fast and exciting, and that's pretty much all I want. :)
Agreed on all points.
Night plus rain is gorgeous.
I think the game looks fantastic all the time, honestly.
Maybe it doesn't look quite as fancy as inFAMOUS:SS, but who cares? It's a great game.
I'm a huge inFAMOUS fan, and I wish they had taken some of the time they spent on those fancy graphics and made the game not suck. There are 3 types of side missions in Second Son, and most of them take about 10 seconds...
I love how almost every single article about achievements mentions the "Mile High Club".
That has gone down in 360 history as the most "iconic" of achievements.
"KNOWN ISSUES:
A small number of models of A/V receivers may not power on automatically via IR commands from the console (such as when saying “Xbox, On’). The team is aware of this issue and investigating."
Yeah I have that problem, actually. On the preview forums I noticed a few people talking about it and they all seemed to have Yamaha receivers.
It's strange, the volume controls work fine, and it turns off fine, but it won...
Just get a good 7200 rpm drive and you'll be fine.
That's what I have hooked up, and it cut down the Ryse multiplayer colosseum load time from 1:45 to 1:10. Huge difference. Forza load times are noticeably faster as well, but I didn't time them to see the actual difference.
I don't think the SSD will make nearly enough of a difference to warrant the huge price difference.
Edit: could I have possibly used the word "differe...
No, unfortunately the first step of XB1 flopping in Japan was taken 13 years ago when an American company decided to make a games console.
They've never had a chance over there.
You realize that we can get an external SSD and because of the USB 3.0 connection it will smoke the SATA internal PS4 connection, right??
So while you are all excited because you took your console apart and don't have anything else plugged into it, I'll have faster load times than you, and I can take it to a friends house if I want to.
Oh and let me know when you can fit 16 TB inside your PS4.
I don't know why everything has to ...
I could get an external SSD and it's going to be faster with the USB 3.0 connection than the ps4's internal SATA connection. ;)
I just tested this myself this morning and came on here hoping to find a story about it.
My external drive is 3TB. 7200 rpm.
I tested using Ryse as well because I knew the load time into the colosseum multiplayer is terribly long.
First I tested the load time booting the game until I hit the main menu.
Internal drive - 35 seconds
External drive - 29 seconds
I thought that was pretty good un...
I've never seen that pic before.
If anyone else here is a gun owner, I hope they are as bothered by that picture as I am.
That guy shouldn't be allowed to handle a firearm. I don't care what kind of stage event it is for. Or how many people supposedly checked it first.
I can't believe that everyone is totally missing the point that your bad grammar was an intentional part of the joke.
Lighten up, people.
@ Mystic
Why not just disconnect from PSN or Xbox Live, and play as if you have no internet connection?
That way you can play solo without resetting your stats. Unless of course this "reset" thing will detect that, and then reset you anyway.
If that is the case, then I would agree with you that it is a "penalty". Otherwise I still look at it as rewards that you only get if you play online and STAY online.
OMG
There is no "penalty" for playing offline.
There are REWARDS for being online.
I just noticed that I said Killzone 2 multiplayer, I meant Killzone: Shadowfall of course.
Too late to edit.
Sony outright lied when they said that the PS2 would be able to do Toy Story level graphics.
Sony outright lied about the Killzone 2 E3 presentation being gameplay when it was CG.
Sony outright lied about the resolution of Killzone 2 multiplayer.
There is one example from each of the past three console generations for you.
Not trying to start a war here, by any means, but those are all three bold faced lies meant to make thei...
oh yeah for sure.
Externals are usually cheaper.
I want to see Illumiroom.
