Yeah it's so terrible.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and preordered but I cancelled after a couple beta sessions because it was one of the worst things I've ever played.
SO GLAD they did a beta.
And Sea of Thieves.
Not a lot of variety of things to do, and the fun is just in doing it with your buddies.
Problem with this game is that most of the people seem to want to play alone, and even with buddies it just isn't that much fun.
I don’t go in game stores.
I haven’t been in a GameStop in probably 9-10 years.
And all my friends that game have moved out of state, so I have nobody that would loan me a game either.

I'm the opposite, I would have bought my Xbox and PS4 without disc drives if was an option 5 years ago.

It's terrible.
Pacifist mode only makes it so you can't damage other players.
They can still damage you.
Not everyone sees it as "mediocrity."
I mean, I get where you are going with this, but I love Bethesda games. There are no other games like them.
And Fallout 4 is my favorite Fallout. I mean, opinions are different and all of that good stuff.
Plus JRPG’s are terrible. :D

I was exploring and looting everything.
It just felt like the only point of doing that was to keep those stupid meters filled.
I love Fallout, but I cancelled my pre-order based 100% on the hunger and thirst meters that completely dominate the gameplay.
My entire first few hours was solely based around eating and drinking, and then using Radaway to get rid of all the radiation I got from eating and drinking so much.
There is barely any time to do anything else but eat/drink, or look for food so that you can eat/drink some more.

What control issue?
I hate survival games.
This game's survival aspects are a tiny annoyance at most.
Whatever you do, don't bother trying Fallout 76. That game forces you to eat 5 meals and drink 9 bottles of water about every 10 minutes, it's the worst thing I've ever played.
That's how everything is nowadays.
Everything to one extreme or the other, just look at politics...

First of all, the visuals are fine.
Second, it's not "more of the same." If it was "more of the same," I would not have cancelled my pre-order.
I could always go for "more of the same" when it comes to Fallout.
This is not really Fallout. And it's terrible.
The game definitely looks better if you turn off HDR.
So this game is trash you wouldn't touch, but you like the Division, which is essentially the same genre of game?
I mean, I realize they aren't the exact same game and you can like whatever you like, but I'm curious why you consider such a similar style of game to be trash?
