I am in the minority that thinks the first one was far better than the second.
The second game gave you too much power, with the flying drone and the ability to see through walls.
Everything that made the first game unique was made obsolete as a result.
I wish he would come out and tell us what it IS, instead of trying to say everything that it ISN'T.
I'm quite the opposite of what you are proposing. I don't really care what the story is about and would never want the story spoiled.
I just want to know what kind of game it is, and nobody can seem to answer that.
So far we've seen tiny bits of stealth, and riding a motorcycle, and a little melee combat, but mostly just a lot of walking and climbing.
I'm sure plenty of people want to know the story, but I'm not o...
Man people are impatient nowadays. This is a game that had no need for a fast travel system.
The world was huge and it took a long time to get places, but that was the point. Getting there was half the experience. There are so many random things that can happen and that you can encounter, fast travel would make it a different game, one which would not have been nearly as good of an experience.
I played the game for 150+ hours, never fast traveled a sin...
As a huge AC fan since day 1, my problem with this game was that Connor himself was just so utterly boring...
But then since it was set during a huge piece of American History, they surrounded him with every possible known character and every major event of the time.
The main character was overshadowed by everyone else around him.
It became kind of a Forrest Gump story, honestly.
The writers just jammed their plain...
All new content was always going to be free, they said that long before launch.
I clicked on this just to see why it needed an article.
Thank you for saving me from clicking on the actual article itself.
Why is this even a thing?
Yes this is absolutely accurate.
There was a timer in the challenge menu from day one that showed they were only going to be active for 40 days.
I'm not saying it is a good thing to get rid of them, but there is no excuse for anyone that actually played this game in the last 40 days to be surprised that they are gone.
The was no unfinished game and there was no "blunder" to fix.
The game at launch was the whole game, with updates planned to add to it later, all of which was always going to be free.
Yes, the game didn't get the best reception, but that didn't make them do all of this to "fix" the game. They were doing all of this anyway.
I'm sure it influenced what shape some of these additions took, but it was not like...
Yup, exactly.
It was very obvious what he meant. Maybe he didn't choose the correct word, but when you heard the entire thing together there was nothing you could possibly be confused about.

They could have shown me something that looked exactly like a Borderlands 2 DLC and I would have been excited, but what we got was freaking amazing.
I've never been this excited for a game.
Yeah every time I get on PSN I have a ton of spam messages.
I get them on Xbox occasionally but not often.
One of the best games of last gen.
I think the decision is based around the fact that a giant percentage of the fanbase thought slag was not fun to use and made the late game horribly imbalanced.
Here's to hoping this new element is better, but it's going to depend on how much of a debuff it is. Right now it just sounds like Slag but with a DoT as well.
Controversial opinion:
These games are only popular because people want something to brag about.
Borderlands DLCs have always been separate from the main story.
It's always been very clear that they were special side stories and not cut content.
Do whatever you want, man, but this game isn't doing anything different than the other games.
Epic are the biggest proponents of Cross Play out of everyone.
I don't see how that would be a barrier to cross play.
I love this controller so much, I just wish the damn thing would last.
I've had so many of them fail... I think 5 or 6 of them now?
My latest one actually developed a drift in the left stick in 2 months time, so it was the first one that failed within the warranty period. While it is off for repair, I had the bumper break on my backup. I'm now using my second backup until my replacement gets here.
I shouldn't keep buying ...
Borderlands 3 is not an answer to Destiny, it's an answer to all the Borderlands fans that have been begging for more Borderlands for the last 5 years.
I was super disappointed by this game.
The actual story missions were a total of just a few short hours, everything else was just completing random locations around the map, most of which could be cleared of enemies in 30 seconds or so.
Hiding the weapons and abilities in Arks around the map was a huge mistake, in my opinion.
If you are the explorer type, you're overpowered very quickly, and if you aren't, then you'd fini...
