Maybe Kojima is looking at games that have that potential to change the industry, rather than much improved version of an already tired genre. Don't get me wrong, Im a huge BF fan, but BF3 won't bring anything new to the industry.

Really? I'm not saying that all of the hyped up games this year will be amazing, but it is hard to argue against games like Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Infamous 2, Witcher 2...I could keep going. And what does game value have to do with the quality of the game itself? I've seen stellar games drop in price within a short period of time.

Won't affect me i stopped buying sports games when they all became the same year after year with very minor improvements. I'll probably buy 1 or 2 sports games every generations just to see some large graphical/technical leaps, but other than that, no thank you.
Poorly written article. This author somehow thinks that MW2 graphics are vastly different from Black Ops. That is completely wrong. yes there are minor differences, but those differences are in framerate, jaggies, and screen tearing. Mw2 graphics were just as cartoonish as Black Ops, if maybe a bit better. Mw3 will look just as crappy. Why? Because with 1 year is not enough time to make a new engine, or vastly improve graphics

Maybe you're happy with paying full price for short games, but most people in this economy are not. Also, most games have some replayability but Portal 2 has NONE - there is no point of redoing the same puzzles if you already know how to do them. If the majority of the fanbase are complaining about value, then there is a problem. Sadly this is something reviewers do not emulate, which makes me wonder about their credibility
I think most of the people disagreeing with you did not play Portal 2 and see for themselves. I can't say I played it either, but my friend bought it on release and he is almost done with it. You're completely right, portal 2 is a great game, but the biggest problem (as the article also states very clearly) is content. I agree that Uncharted 2 is best looking console game, but I disagree in what you're saying about Killzone 3. Crysis 2 IMO did in fact trump Killzone 3.
How do you know how BF3 will look on consoles ? No console footage has been shown. BTW if you read the article you would know that they are talking about consoles not pc.
