There is no 1 game of the year award. With so many journalists, and so many good games, I'm pretty Sure GOTY awards will be scattered among different games. Portal 2 surely will get a few, so will Infamous 2, so will Uncharted 3, So will Skyrim, etc. And please don't count the Spike VGA's as the determinant, because that show is a joke. They gave Best Voice Actor to the COD Black Ops guy for gods sakes
This Project Cafe console better have more than 512mb of ram, seriously, thats not enough anymore
i dont want high res images i want high res gameplay!
re-building the system? Guess that's a good thing for the long run, but I'm willing to be the network won't be back up this week because of it.
Its hard to take them seriously when they are playing bad music over the talking. I mean if you can't do simple editing of videos then I wonder how the majority of these guys can even hack?
How about stop making articles about the PSN being down. I get it..its annoying and embarrassing on Sony's part, but please, stop adding to the already multitude of articles stating the EXACT same thing. Moderators, why are you approving all these articles?
Infamous is a boring repetitive shooter? Can't get anymore ignorant than that I guess. So congrats!
The first prototype wasn't about story either, it was just about mindless fun. And hey, it worked! One of my favourite one time experiences. definitely worth the rent for me
Psp Go if anything was the most overpriced handhelds in gaming history. Sony should have focused on NGP right after the psp 3000 rather than making the psp go. Not only did the psp go add a few new features to the table, it did not fix the awkward controls of playing a shooter, nor did it help its case by providing download-only software.
I'm a huge witcher fan myself, having read the books as well. I can't wait for TW2, but also doubt it will be able to beat Skyrim, more so because skyrim will be such a large game full of content.
Unfortunately I prefer the ps3 controller, which to what I've read is a pain to install on the pc. I have yet to give it a try though, and i probably should
Am i the only one who's not impressed? I appreciate Brink trying to make players work as a team..and I salute the fantastic sound design, but I don't see anything that really distinguishes this game apart from other class based games. I mean there are some minor things, but not anything that would make me spend $60 on. I guess I would have to wait and see for the reviews
To be honest, I joined the hype train with this game until I bought it. I enjoyed it for a week and then just stopped playing. The SP was a good one time experience, and the MP got old fast
I just hope naughty dog handles the supernatural element in Uncharted 3 with more finesse than Uncharted 2 - which was very predictable. I want to be actually taken by surprise like in Uncharted 1. Oh yeah..and please..no immortality
I doubt any call of duty game would make the list - they are not well known for their memorable single player and I doubt they ever will be
So far PC FPS have been the only shooters from my opinion (with the exception of Resistance series on ps3) that actually had a spectacular single player storyline. Just look at the Stalker series or Half life series.
hahah! the left turn jokes never get old because they are so true.
although not a huge pc gamer myself, I am inclined to agree with you. PC games not only have cheaper launch prices, but also have crazy deals - usually because of Steam. Too bad i suck at PC FPS or else I would be all over them (I'm really bad with mouse and keyboard).
If you never played the original crackdown, then crackdown 2 is really fun. However, if you did (like myself), it is almost exactly the same
How about read the article and not just the title
