Not impressed by the screens at all. I saw videos as well of Rage, and also nothing special IMO. The graphics have too much of a cartoony look, and not in a good way like Borderlands. Its hard to convey a post-apocalyptic feeling with these graphics.
Btw has anyone noticed that the graphics lately have been modified (they looked better at E3) when compared to the E32010 footage?
So far from what i've seen it can definitely top oblivion. Better graphics, more fluid quest system, better combat, random world encounters, and I can keep going. As long as this game doesn't have the bugs of previous Bethesda games, I won't be complaining
Skyrim is shaping up to be one of the best Rpg's of this generation. Hopefully it lives up to all the hype, which i'm sure it will since Bethesda is a very capable developer.
Yup, I hate how many fanboys/journalists just jump to the conclusion that Sony is the victim. For all we know, Sony caused all this because of poor network protection. Or maybe this is just an excuse for them to finally upgrade their network. People have to remember that big corporations love manipulating consumers, no matter if they are Sony, Microsoft, etc.

I dunno, the game's graphics really bother me in LA Noire. Its just a personal preference but I really can't stand looking at the game to be honest. The graphics are all washed out and the textures are pretty terrible.
Demon's Souls? Hell no, that game frustrates the hell out of me. I play games to have fun not to throw the controller around.
Socom 4 online is fun, but SP is crap. I think you're overrating it a bit

Is anyone surprised anymore? Almost every developer is including DLC on disc these days. Even the 'good' devs like Valve are probably doing the same thing now.
I find that in Counter Strike you sometimes see the cursor hit someone but it actually doesn't. Plus 100 hp is too unrealistic for me. I never got into that game to be honest. Day of Defeat was more of my game back in the day
