Maybe they gave it a low score to generate hits. Maybe the reviewer truly didn't like the game. But really, the most important thing is that you enjoyed the game. Who cares what some random net critics says? They don't make the decisions for you, do they?
You'd be surprised. :P
Oh? And what did he expect in a world where Miss PacMan is voted among the Top 10 Sexiest Video Game Characters?
What happened to Mass Effect 2? Now that was an incredible first 10 minutes. Guitar Hero? What? Seriously?
AC2 was simply a slightly improved version of AC1. It still has not reached it's potential.
What I really hate about Crytek is their sudden inability to be content with what they have. Their first two games got great reviews and they both sold reasonably well, considering they were PC exclusives.
Now, all of a sudden, that wasn't enough. So they went multiplat, and in doing so, had to adopt certain 'creative constraints'(yea right) for this game. And now, out of the blue, they're trash-talking Halo?
I'm sorry, but they're jus...
Have to agree with kaveti6616. Crysis wasn't a 'piece of trash' by any means. The gameplay just wasn't specifically made for run-n-gun fans. Hell, it was years ahead of it's time in terms of graphics and is still undefeated in terms of graphics. There is still no machine using a single GPU that can do over 50 FPS avg. in a maxed out Crysis @ 2560x1600.
IMO, I think what Crysis failed to achieve was the non-stop action and tension that it tried to implement...
WOW! Really? Can you give us some rough number for both PC and console sales?
And, yes, this game is simply awesome whether you play it on console or PC.
"Just Call Me a Gamer"
NO.
Just kidding. Put down the knife already....
But seriously, why is it such a surprise in a place where guys make up the majority? And why is it considered such an insult to be addressed as 'female' or 'girl'? I don't think any sane guy is gonna freak out about being called 'male' or 'guy'.
You talk as if only girls get flamed online. Well, let me tell you, it'...
RE4 might not have been as scary as the first 3, but it was a damn good game and I loved it. On the other hand, RE5 was unoriginal, boring and broken. And they turned Chris into a bland, one-dimensional roid-freak.
If this is the guy responsible for RE5 & DMC4, I say 'get him outta here already'. I'm not that hyped for RE6 since RE5 screwed up my faith in Capcom. The only thing that'll get me excited again is if we see the return of Claire and/or Leon with...
I don't think the series is ever going to reach the quality of the first game again. It's been disappointment after disappointment. When the first game came out, the concept was fresh and exciting. Now, it just stale and overdone.
The twisted part of it is that, Ubi will still think it's somehow the customers' fault.
"...best developer : bungie..."
Ummmm.....NO.
I thought this was console exclusive. Why is it in the PC section?
Looks better than the first batch. But I'm pretty sure the true in-game shots won't look anything like those.
Sounds promising. But why is an 'open-world masterpiece' getting only and average score of 8/10?
I remebered Dchalfont's post on the PC forum about a 'New Moon Game'.
The 360 controls are -
X - Cry
Y - Cry
A - Cry
B - Cry
And here's the fatality move -

Add Metro 2033 to that list of "Unoptimized Trash". That game is barely playable maxed. on a 5870 @1680x1050 with no MSAA. That might not sound so bad until you see that the visuals aren't all that mindblowing and that it's a friggin' linear game.
That South Park episode was classic.
"Yeah, Dude. EA Sports really outdid themselves this time."
And that line from Mr.Bones.
"They should call him 'Tiger'. He's always in the woods."
Oooh...3 guns, so innovative. /sarcasm
You can bet at least some deluded fans will think this game is the first to use more than 3 guns in the FPS genre.
