She can be the Princess of Persia, and I'd still have chosen Shani over her. I just hope Shani makes a comeback in this sequel, I really don't want to have to settle for Triss by default. (Damn, I'm starting to sound like a typical chick-flick.)
I think they should make a whole new category for you. "The Bragger" lol
(Please don't kill me.)
+Bubbles for that last line. :)
Strange, I don't feel attached to any of it either. The closest might be the 'Old School Elitist', but even that is a bit farfetched.
Same with me. I chose Shani over Triss. A girl like Shani is much more interesting, because something about Triss screamed "Slut".
"Pachter wishes all games used DRM like Ubisoft."
Ultramoot wishes all companies used PIG(Pachter-Ignore-Button) like gamers.
Agree with you, despair. Unfortunately, harry190 might not be far from the truth in saying the franchise is going towards a more mainstream approach like COD and/or Halo. When I first heard Crytek talk about the so-called "creative constraints" for this game, the first thing on my mind was "mainstream", which translates to "accessible to a wider audience", which translates to "like COD, Halo, etc."
As much as I'd like to believe that Crysis 2 will be much more optimized than Crysis 1, I'm pretty sure it's not going to be. If you find linear-constraints and a slight step backwards in visuals as 'optimization' then it's your call. As for me, I have yet to see a Crysis 2 screenshot that beats the original game. The only improvement I see is that the gun models look a bit more detailed, but that's about it. I don't buy the whole "parallel development for...
Bay sucks. None of his films had substance. It was just pretty CGI and explosions. He doesn't know how to use the actors. BTW, Transformers 1 & 2 sucked donkey balls.
I hate the fact that the game characters are only side characters in the movies, nevermind the stories being different from the games. Oh, and they can't get actors who actually look like their counterparts from the game? Anderson should never be allowed to go near another game franchise again.
As much as I liked Wentworth Miller in Prison Break, he looks nothing like Chris. The same goes for Ali Larter. The only forgivable casting was Sienna Guillory as Jill. And none of...
"Should Treyarch Fear An End Similar To Infinity Ward?"
With a parent company like Activision, they'd be fools if they're not worried.
As much as I like Chris Nolan, I don't think a sci-fi space flick is his area of expertise. He's more of the 'grounded in reality' type of director.
And I just love how people are suggesting Nolan for every comic/game movie, when they didn't even know who he was before The Dark Knight. I've been a fan of his since Memento and his dark/gritty take on everything is not ideal for Mass Effect. Maybe, someone like J.J.Abrams could do it.....
"We want to create the best entertainment experience of the year"
Yeah? Well, too bad because what you want and what you get are two completely different things.
"We want to create the best entertainment experience of the year"
Sadly, I don't see that happening. EVER.
"...all of their games have more character than anything IW has ever made..."
Oh really? I guess that's why COD3 and COD5 were bigger hits than MW1 and MW2. Oh wait........
Don't get me wrong. I hate IW for what they did with MW2, but that doesn't automatically mean Treyarch are better developers. Look at their track record. None of their games ever came close to beating IW products. If IW wasn't wrecked by Activision, Treyarch will ...
It has decent action sequences, but suffer from mediocre acting and story. 6.8/10 on IMDB and 50% on RT suggests I'm pretty accurate.
Who cares? He looks nothing like the Prince from the game, much less a Persian. And he's a highly overrated actor. The End.
That's because he's the model for the character. But it'd be risky to cast him because he has no know acting credibility, while Matthew Fox is a professional actor and resembles the character as well.
And to the people suggesting Sam Worthington for Shepard, get out, just get out. If you're gonna suggest a horrible, overrated, no-talent actor who doesn't even look like the character, then at least try to think of somebody who's taller than 5'10&quo...
lol....right on the money.
I love spotting for my team when I play the Recon Class. I spot so much, I think I've had more Spot Assists than actually killing enemies myself. BTW, I also love doing the Suicide-C4-charge on enemy tanks when the team is short on engineers.
