Somehow I highly doubt that. There's a thing I've learned about sequels that are made "available to a wider audience", and that is, they're hardly ever 'true to the original'.

Looks a bit steep for many casual(read non-hardcore) gamers, especially in the MMO genre. Looking at the graphics, that requirement is not justified at all, especially the GPU and CPU part.
I know how you feel. It turned me into an RPG-lover as well. Now, my favorite games are all pretty much RPGs. In other words, Hell Yeah. Bring on the next Elder Scrolls.
What kind of pre-historic computer are you still clinging on to? Even an entry-level computer can run Crysis these days, just not on max.

I'd rather trust my instincts thank you very much(sellouts). The whole game just screams "mainstream" and we all know what translates to. I sincerely hope I'm wrong but based on what we've seen and heard so far, I not optimistic at all.
I didn't like any of the Tom Raider games(I don't get what the big deal is, other than Lara Croft's assets). I liked only the first 2 Thief games. Didn't really enjoy the Hitman series. Deus Ex 1 was good, the sequel was crap. Arkham Asylum was okay, not exactly the masterpiece it was made out to be, even though I'm a HUGE Batman-fan.
Looking at the last thief game, which was a big disappointment for me, I'm pretty sure they're not gonna go back to...

Nice. But my interest in the game is starting to wane. I don't like the "...available to a wider audience." talk from the devs. They did that with Deus Ex 2 and look how that turned out. Get back to your original roots or GTFO.
Very misleading. There is nothing in the article about this game coming to consoles.
I'd be very very disappointed if BF3 isn't PC exclusive. It sounds selfish, I know, but I don't want another watered-down multiplat BF game.
Give Bad Company 3 to consoles, I really don't care. The Bad Company series was created with consoles in mind anyway.
All I ask is that they keep Battlefield 3 development exclusively to PC.
