Why, games are great
Well either way they have you. How bout dem logics? :):) :) :) :) :) :)
So even after announcing a more powerful console launching next year and future iterations of Xbox One somehow someway people take some opinion from some schmuck somewhere and try to validate their negative sentiment about Xbox. Why am I not surprised by this rare form of degeneration?!
Looks like fantastic design on a budget. Seems like with the price Microsoft wants this to be successful so they can support ReCore 2 with triple A support.
Hell imagine Half Life 3 funded by Microsoft?! It's a shooter and shooters do very well on Xbox, imagine HL3 exclusive to both PC and Xbox?!!!
Basically every way we enjoy our console beyond games. There is no doubt Microsoft has always raised the bar. But in terms of diverse games, no Microsoft is terrible at that. They are good supporters of big games though.
Well in the console space YES! MS will be doing VR better than Sony.
@jb227
Not unless you're slow in the head. This was as clear and obvious as Phil has said. What were you thinking Phil ment when stating that a 4k gaming console will have an impact on full HD?! That somehow it will downgrade below 1080p/60fps?! You're either half-wit or playing dumb.
@darthv72
I doubt you'll tell the difference between Neo and Scorpio playing full HD because they both will handle it. We'll start seeing the difference in power which is significant by 2Tflops when they play 4k games, IF Neo can handle native 4k or upscaled 4k at stable frame rates. Phil has already stated Scorpio is designed specifically with 4k gaming in mind which they are betting 4k TVs will be much cheaper by then. Heck gaming industry influences the TV makret alot btw....
@Angeljuice
I think they though you were talking about standard XOne. This is new info just in about upscaled 4k gaming, but they never mentioned it during the reveal and rightfully so, it would have cause mixed messages with Scorpio running native 4k.
@Bruh
Don't know if it has a dGPU unless you know something I don't. But it was stated in the reveal that it's a SoC, hence it's still uses eSRAM. There is nothing wrong with eSRAM, it was lacking specs that's all. eSRAM is a great technology for huge high-quality textures.
I doubt that, heck the Scorpio surprisingly is still an SoC. So I think eSRAM is still the main focal point, just increased specs.
@SNiperControl
Why is it desperation?! I think this is a industry move by both manufactures hence going with PC architecture. If you're going to criticize Microsoft might as well doe the same for Sony.
Yes, surprisingly so. I had doubt first hearing about itj and how it was exclusive to console.
So Nintendo delayed NX announcement and now Sony has offset announcing Neo come E3, that sucks. However Microsoft is pretty low-key about all the Scorpio rumors, very interesting. Dammit 2 days!
@Mr. Bubbles
Of course Halo isn't what is use to be, it's better and wouldn't be surprised that by today it should be in the 4.5-5 million range.
Comcept has nothing to do with development and funding of Recore. That belongs to Microsoft and Armature where Mark Pacini is the creative director overlooking the overall game. I think Inafune is only providing the concept and inspiration of the game.
And both RPGs?! Wow, isnt' this what we'eve been waiting for from Sony and Microsoft?
This year was action-adventure, next year will be the battle of the RPGs only this time Horizon and Scalebound are both on even ground given they're both new IPs. Great time to be a gamer!
This is great for gamers, not only is this industry friendly but once Microsoft sees money they go after it and this is a good direction especially for PC gamers.
