I might be getting Scorpio on day one yet it seems like you're not and are more worried than I am. What does that tell you about yourself? Once you find out your comment will be less idiotic, just helping you out buddy.
Or maybe this is in response to the pound and the effect Brexit had today? Just seems obvious.
@XiKurapikaKurta
Just because I played it doesn't mean I remained a fan of the series. All games have fans doesn't mean an inflated sense of hype of game translates to that hype meeting the actual popularity of a game.
It will still be pretty damn powerful even by launch. A very confined yet highly customized hardware at 6tflops is very powerful. All Microsoft needs to do is start pouring resources into new studios with talent and create some fantastic games. New MOBA with triple A production graphics, a fun multiplayer-online game with great co-op story. They need to use these hardware to innovative into a new genre of games that will push Scorpio and PC in terms of graphics and AI, especially AI. Make use...
The mechanics was good for the beta, can't wait for the full content and some PC play. Finally a fresh RTS for my PC to play.
@bruce755
"Dud", doesn't mean "bad". It's just not going to meet the hype it get's from the fans and it's demand on Sony to waste money creating this. Personally I don't think the game is bad, I grew up playing the series I just never understood the hype for it.
Too much games to call it a drought, another spring in the summer in my opinion.
Surprised everyone has conservative numbers, I was thinking $600+.
Love it, I hope it's a fun mixture of strategic and stylized play.
Just facts, this game is for the fans so enjoy it. I never understood the hype of this game even though I grew up playing it's sequels.
Although potential a good game for what it is, this will be an overall dud but not for the fans, they'll enjoy it. Lucky they have Sony to actually waste money on this long awaited title.
Developers stated it is open world and potential 8 hours. So for most gamers its' a pretty long game because they stated you'll be revisiting sites with upgrade movement or robotic upgrades. But I prefer your last option, very well designed game from experienced developers on a budget hence the price. If successful provide triple A production and a new Xbox franchise is born. I like this approach.
EDIT:
Nevermind I thought the game director in an interview ...
Seems interested in the game yet becomes disinterested because it's in another digital distributor? Where the gamers at?
Graphically so so? Were you expecting assassin's creed after the reveal last year? smh
Actually both had great exclusives the only difference is Microsoft has games with real release dates on games Xbox owners will be playing all within a year's time and surprisingly tons of exclusives. On top of that the announcement of powerful consoles.
I think Microsoft like last year will reserve announcements for new IPs at Gamescom.
@BossBattle
Great point, also considering that it's 6tflpos within a console. That's a ton of power with these new APIs and all. Heck we haven't seen a game solely designed with Dx12.
The real profit comes from the "platform" or digital distribution within the hardware, Xbox Live. Before Xbox Live consoles were basically a solitary gaming hardware, now it seems platforms are the new direction for gaming.
Microsoft is going all digital to increase value for the Xbox app, you can see this already with EA Access and soon to be other major publishers.
So they don't mind designing and launching new hardware now considering the...
I like that edit there, too bad you can't post like that in your original post. Dem logics eh?
If you're not a troll that makes you even more a degenerate. If you really wanted to speculate some concerns you would start speculating on the price. Even if Developers don't choose 4k, the narrative is Scorpio is a beast.
^
Exactly, as long as it's about the enjoyment of the games.
