It'll be fun no doubt, but I don't think it'll be better than Gear 4.
Please, they're specifically harsh on big Xbox titles. Gamespot starts from the actual score 8 and minus 2 because it's Microsoft.
You mean only more cheaper?
Tomb Raider?
I think that's a great idea, I always figured why GameStop themselves haven't done a digital market place for trade and sells. They better capitalize now before Sony and Microsoft implements their own sharing market.
Obviously there will be restrictions with such a feat given the potential reasons this can go very wrong.
Sorry there is so much notes and articles on DX12 that I don't need some obvious fanboy telling me something I already know. I never claimed you didn't need optimization, I stated in my original comment that Dx12 provides "constant optimization" where previous Dx versions failed at providing. So I'm aware of the fundamentals.
Specifically with Dx12 features like Asynchornous Compute and Multi-threaded Command Buffering Recording, hardware is no more a bu...
@GamelameName
How is it less optimization when the sole design of Dx12 is pure optimization? It's like you missed out months of news releases of this very detail. Dx12 has in some sense allowed AMD to be competitive, how can it not be competitive in the console market? Also who is Microsoft to set prices other companies products? Dell, HP and other PC manufactures have no problem with selling their laptops and devices with Windows 10 OS.
So you don't ...
I think gaming and specifically PC gaming overall and understand PC parts are becoming more "building friendly" for consumers, especially today where young gamers are not scared of tech and it's uses. I can imagine the likes of Alienware and GPU manufactures creating HTPC like consoles but with Xbox UI on them. Brings in more competition, cheaper consoles, development tools and techniques stay consistent, meaning better games and a healthy industry overall.

Well hypothetically speaking IF you have a base console that can be "upgradable" at any time, I highly doubt Sony can keep up with constant console release.
No only do console become far cheaper for Microsoft to manufacture but it creates a far more healthier development process for developers therefore room for great game design.
Also I think you forget the central purpose of Windows 10 was for that very reason of constant opti...

You would be making a point if this wasn't spoken of like two years ago. There was always a plan for this happening that's why a some people are not surpirsed.
Ok
yup, game is too much fun to let it spoil it. I'm sure they've learned from games like Halo 5 where it's done right.
Who cares as long as it's done right. Great game btw
like history.
Well it is Major Nelson's Week on Xbox, meaning the announcement will be some feature for Xbox. That's why there is speculation on Steam related news with Xbox. Probably some deal was struck during the event couple days ago.
Wow, a lot of creativity in your article.
As an IT person you should know better that Azure for gaming is not cloud gaming but cloud compute. Cloud gaming is PS Now where everything is rendered on the servers and then streamed. Cloud compute is literally using the internet to render in-game resources. So if anything it's not just buying servers and rendering for the hell of it like streaming something, these are specialized servers with the Azure platform designed specifically for it.
Who do you show your lips to guys? lol!
For a PS4 upgrade or a new Xbox? Yes ...for the new Xbox.
