NoA... you suck for not bringing this.
Seriously, what's the problem with bringing a great RPG to the US, if it's already localized to (UK) English? It's not like Americans can't understand a UK speaker, or can't understand what a "colour" is. Print a mere 100-200K copies, if you're worried about not selling many -- you'll probably sell most all of them on day 1, and make a few million more $$ than you would have made otherwise.

I got one. It's a great phone, and the gamepad/keys are a huge, huge deal. I honestly wouldn't trade it for some of the power hungry Tegra2 phones my pals have picked up recently. Mine lasts for like 48 hours straight on a single charge, and it performs great.
My point was that mobile GPUs suck compared to desktop GPUs. I didn't feel an in-depth explanation of why was necessary. =)
A "gaming laptop" is certainly never going to be something that's going to "save PC gaming", when PC gaming's main draw is that it tends to lead console gaming, in terms of sheer performance.
The GTX555M in the Razer Blade barely bests the X360 GPU (except in unrealistic low-cycle shader scenarios, where ...
GameStop doesn't check the discs, they just resell them, and gladly accept returns. Luckily for poor GameStop, a large portion of their used sales are Moms buying for Johnny's birthday, and Johnny just can't figure out why his game won't work, and/or the receipt gets misplaced.
Oops. Also *cha-ching*, $$$. Don't worry, you're not hurting GameStop with your crappy eBay games. You're hurting other consumers instead, and that's fine by GS.
You have to trade-in the DX receipt to get the gift card (i.e. you cannot return it as well), and the buy 2 get one free used deal is always going on.
That said, $50 is a good-sized gift card. Its more the fact that they didn't make arrangements to do this beforehand, which is the problem. Statistically only about 10-15% of customers will take them up on the receipt trade-in offer, which is way better than handing out 100% to all consumers. I'm sure that's why ...
PC Gaming will become all the rage about 5 years after gpus hit the 10nm fab process.
...because it'll take about that long to factor out the least common denominators, which is PC gamings biggest issue.
I listened to the the razer folks yammer on about the blade yesterday at PAX...
The pad is cool, but it basically is the same as an Alienware M14x (or whatever they call their current 14" gaming laptop)
A 555gtx mobile is a good gpu.. for a laptop. A 9800 GT desktop GPU demolishes it though... and that GPU is 3+ years old.
Shodan is the greatest computer game villain(ess?) of all time.
It's a shame when people are like "Who is Shodan?" Makes me ill, in fact.
I don't know why this guy is singling out the PS3. The headset included with my 360 Arcade was garbage with a tiny short cord... basically worthless.
I agree though, that the BT headset I have for the PS3 is freaking awesome. I wish that everyone had one... I wish that MAG had shipped with one, or had the option anyway.
The rig has about 2.5x the GPU muscle of the PS3 and 360, and honestly, even high-end GPUs today are only about 2x what this rig can do (4-5x as powerful as the PS3/360). You have to have a multi-GPU setup to get better, and the rig they used is going to be *very* typical for most players.
They look the same because of diminishing returns on GPU horsepower. Resolution and better AA is about all you're gonna get out of a better PC GPU, and both those features are known t...
Wow awesome. That game was one the Wii's best.
Good bundle.
I'm a little surprised they included Gears 2 and Fable 3, rather than Gears 1 and Fable 2, though. Maybe they don't have enough overstock of those games left to make the bundle.
TBH, its only about $100 of software, even bought new. More like $50 on eBay, or via GameStop. Still, that's a bunch of extra stuff.. and good games too. I'm surprised they didn't throw in some stuff like Crackdown, Kameo, and Perfect Dark: Zero, t...
This action basically serves only one purpose -- it damages the potential revenue stream of OnLive, by not giving consumers this "sample" to entice them.
Without the ability to advertise themselves, OnLive may cease being competition to GameStop... or at least that's GameStop's hope.
Say... isn't that against the anti-competitive practice laws, in the US? It sure was when MS was accused of it...
GameStop also refuses to...
GameStop should remove the manuals from the new games as well, and maybe scuff up the discs just a bit. Also, remove any packed-in DLC codes. That way, they can truly claim that used is as good as new... at GameStop.
Otherwise, aren't they competing with their own largest revenue stream? They don't want new sales knocking their used profits!

If you only have a couple hundred cars, you can probably afford to make them all "premium". Then, you can say "all our cars are premium", because you don't bother to include the 800+ cars that you competition has over you, at all.
Bullying the little guy is a good way to get timed exclusives.
I bet developers <3 Microsoft, with this wonderful attitude of theirs.
Sony has a lot more variety in their exclusives, and you need to lump all the exclusives together to compare the two consoles -- you cannot compare 1 game to 1 game, when one console does popular genre exclusives only, and the other does a broad variety.
So... why are you even commenting on this thread, given that these unimportant sales number differences are what it's about?
Spyro, ironically, is soon making a showing on the 3DS.
"People don't seem to notice that there are indeed smartphones that are more powerful than vita"
Err.. sorry? Name one. Remember the Vita is rumored to have a quad core A9-Cortex, and a quad core SGX543 GPU. That's basically twice the cores of the iPad 2, and the iPad 2 is pretty much unmatched by mere phones when it comes to GPU power. CPU power.. maybe a couple phones outpace the iPad 2 by a little bit... but outpace the Vita? That's a joke, right...
