Anyone who has played it knows how amazing the game is.
There should be certain sites that should be banned from reviewing
I couldn't care less about brands and such
I've got 3 gaming platforms that I play
PS3 - mainly for its amazing exclusives
360 - mulitplatforms on this due simply to the controller
PC - mainly for it's indie games and the very rare occasion where it gets a great exclusive.
This way I dont miss out on anything.

He mentioned how AC Black Flag was just about visuals, but the gameplay was pretty much the same as previous AC games.
And this is what concerns me, though Watch Dogs looks more promising, will most developers just bring out the same damn game as we have seen on PS3/360 and just up the graphics and thats it?

Not a fair and accurate comparison. The 3DS is targeted at the casual market. Vita god knows whats that trying to do and PS3/360 are at the core gaming market.

Indie developers deserve true exposure, which sadly they don't get on the tiny PC market.
Now that they will have exposure to the core gaming audience/market is going to be great for them.
There are quite a few indie games I have played that I will say are better then the AAA crap thats out there.
Though having precautions in place is always good, I wonder if Microsoft put this in place not because of a precaution, but because the XBONE is probably poorly designed. :D
My gaming PC, even though I hardly use it anymore since I already have a PS3/360, never overheats and it has more powerful hardware.
Why doesn't it overheat? Because it has sufficient cooling

I have my other devices for this.
What's most important is GAMES and Sony seem to be focusing on this more then Microsoft.
Sure launch lineup, Microsoft may have a little more, but we all know as the generation goes by, Sony will be dishing them out like crazy.
From the clips I have seen so far of BF4, it really does not play any different what so ever to BF3. Pretty much just looks like bigger maps, better graphics and thats it.
All I see is visual effect changes - buildings destructible etc thats it
Gameplay still seems the same as BF3.
Guess shall wait until I get my hands on it before anything, but s far - nothing different here

Sorry folks, I am going to LOVE the PS4 but unless Sony turn up the gameplay innovation in KZ:SF (see Bioshock Infinite/Far Cry 3 for great examples of awesome FPS) and not make it another generic style FPS gameplay formula like KZ2/3 were, I ain't even going to bother.
I do not care how pretty it is.
I've read a few people that have held the XBONE controller at E3, that the bumper buttons are worse, that you have to really turn your index finger to touch them. They are more 'out of reach' compared to the 360 bumpers.
Anyone here who has held one, is this true?

What new gameplay innovations is that game going to have?
All I really saw was better graphics and after AC3, I will be looking at AC4 with extreme caution.
The same old gameplay gets boring after 3+ games.
Including more ship battles isn't going to change that.

All we will get next generation is better graphics and thats it.
Don't expect improved or innovative gameplay guys - its going to be the same. Just better graphics thats all.
If things turn out with PS4 full on dominating, maybe not PS2 times but simliar, this could be bad news in the long run because then you have to ask yourself, would Microsoft pull out of the console market?
Competition is healthy and please remember people, Sony are going full on because of Microsoft, because of competition.
Consumers shouldn't have to ask.
Microsoft are the ones who should be looking at what the competition has.
How can gameplay be compromised on PS3/360 compared to PS4/XBONE when its exactly the same game?
The days where graphics impact on gameplay was back during the PS2 days, where improved graphics at that time (PC or even XBOX 1) had an impact and improved gameplay
Now that the graphics have reached that certain level, any improvement really makes no difference, therefore the gameplay can't be compromised on PS3/360, unless it has PS2 level graphics.
I'm thinking corvusmd is a 360 owner who doesn't have a PS3, or just simply has not played TLOU.
Bioshcok Infinite is a amazing game, but TLOU wins GOTY.

I have actually done this a couple of times.
Pirate the game for PC and play a bit. If I like it I'll end up buying it for 360 or PS3, if I find that its 'okay' but not good enough to spend $$$ on it, I'll just finish it on PC.
Works out quite well.
Never trust some demos as they are not the full representation of a game.
Sadly the only difference you will see 'next gen' is the graphics thats it. Don't expect improvements or innovations in gameplay or online.
