Xbox doesn't run x86 or x64 versions of Windows or DX native that's why they created UWP. And the hardware is not the same for example things have to be re-coded to use Xbox ESRAM ect. Just because two things are similar doesn't mean they are the same.

The game isn't being created in UWP nor is it even being sold on the Windows store. You misunderstand how things will work.

That's B.S. The networks could easily pay for themselves from the revenue from game sales and advertisements. Steam, EA Origin, Uplay ect. are all free on PC. Microsoft was just greedy and realized console gamers (like you) were naive.

None of the third parties are using UWP or play anywhere and Microsoft's game lineup certainly aren't pushing it very far.
Last year Windows store was less than 1% of total PC software sales.
That's going to be a mistake. The average gamer wants cheap. $500 and no games vs $250 and 6 games. And it's still not going to sell in Europe and Asia
