But they haven't stopped selling them.
Oh so then since it's resolution that determines generations and not when the prior console no longer plays the newer games. I guess that must mean Atari though PS2 were all the same generation?
How many kinect's sold last month?
This seems like a shallow compliant when the competition gives no sales numbers at all.
@moldybread
"oh, so now you dont want to know how many psvr units were sold?"
As the most loyal of Microsoft fans I would like to know how many Kinect units were sold.
They both put their best foot forward. But Microsoft forgot to put their shoes on stepped on the tack then fell on their face.
*cough* *mumble* Mass Effect Andromeda *cough* *mumble*
@moldybread
Multiplatform games are 80-90% of Xbox games, not of Playstation games.
Just look at the list of PS4 exclusives Overload linked.
You got that backwards XBone is a new gen because 360 can't run XBone games. If the XBone and the Scorpio both run the same games then it's the same gen. If 4k is the deciding point the PS4 Pro was the first next gen console.
First off it sold more than a million at retail. And at least it got released unlike waiting for years only to have the game canceled at the last minute. People can play Street Fighter, no one can play Scalebound.
The game is old now of course it doesn't sell millions anymore. I guarantee that's more copies than sold of Quantum Break or Sunset Override in that time frame. Why are people so hell bent on making this game look bad?
PC, PS4 and Switch for me.
That would be awesome, New Vegas is still me favorite 3D Fallout. But personally I'm not going to believe it till they announce it formally.
I see a lot of people saying Scorpio will sell well because people buy expensive PC hardware. But the fact is the 1080 is 25'th on the latest steam survey with less than 1% of people owning one. The most popular 10 series is the 1060 which costs around $200.
Will there be people who want to pay a premium, yes but it's not going to be a big seller like people seem to think.
People want cheap. Your average gamer is going to say "$500 with 0 ...
Yea, but the goal is to increase market share and make a profit. The number of people who buy dual 1080's is incredibly small. Making a console for the 1% isn't going to help Microsoft gain market share.
It's not a big surprise, all the things promised are the way Windows was already handling high resource processes. Microsoft is all about the hype. Lets just hope they don't cripple normal operations in order to make this feature seem better. It wouldn't be the first time they have done something like that.
MultiConsoleGamer you got served by e3bbqsauce harder than a chump in a banana suit.

It's unlikely it will even sell more than XBone.
Oh you mean like the initial release/cost of the Xbone?
