Perhaps Xbox was never good... Perhaps it was just an illusion because 360 started a year ahead of Playstation then sold two three or more consoles to the same people because of RROD. And because of Microsoft advertising dollars websites were eager to make them look good. And when sales data was compiled they never showed aligned data which would have shown that PS3 outsold Xbox from the beginning.

There are games where the performance is nearly identical and others were it is less than optimal. It all depends on how the game is threaded.

Many experts have all agreed the only time there is a problem is when graphical threads are separated across the core clusters. This is in no way a problem that isn't solvable as many experts have agreed.

I'm not really analyzing what you said but one thing I find extremely unlikely. That's your rest of the world numbers. In no chart I have ever seen does Xbox sell 50% of PS4 in "rest of the world". Every time I have seen it broken down it's a lower ratio than Europe. Mostly rest of world is Asia which is a Sony stronghold.

Luckily PS4 has both quality and quantity. The reviews speak for themselves.

Moldy a lot of those games will go on to sell a million units with the bigger games selling far more It's exclusives that sell consoles because those multi-platform games will be on PS4, XBone and PC so top ten is irrelevant. And on top of that all the big games are selling greater than 2x as many units on PS4 even the games that traditionally sold better on 360.

Generic are you kidding? PS4 has BY FAR the most gaming variety of any game console on the market.

So uh modly How many copies of Gravity Rush 2, Yakuza 0, The Last Guardian, Tales of Berseria, Digimon World, Fate Extala, Hatsune Miku, Berserk, Nier, Nioh or Horizon Zero Dawn sell on XBone? Because I am pretty sure that at least one person bought them on PS4 which is 100% more than XBone.

What does that say about Microsoft considering PS4 had more than 3 times as many retail exclusives than XBone in 2016?

PS4 Exclusive = 101
PS4 Console exclusive = 384

XBone Exclusive = 33
XBone Console exclusive = 118

Greater than 3 to 1 in favor of PS4... Also more total games.

Games are what matters, people by gaming consoles to play games.

Well have fun playing your 3 year old games while I am playing all the new exclusive releases on my PS4. If Microsoft by chance happens to get any actual new games I'll play them on my PC.

Face reality, XBone had a reasonably strong start then died. And you have to understand the market is bigger. Even though the article doesn't talk about it the truth is that the market share of XBone is WAY less than 360's was.
