Microsoft had the option to continue with Scalebound they chose to cancel it. Sony showed with The Last Guardian that it's worth it to put in the time and money needed to finish what you start. It shows good will and that you are dedicated to the consumers, gamers and the studios you work with.
This will go down as one of Microsoft biggest mistakes this gen, canceling a game with an anemic line up to support the loss of the game. They could have had a great exclusive...
Anyone who thinks this thing is going to come in at less than $500 is dreaming.
Uh, Recore and Forza came out in September that's before October according to my calendar.
And yes Dead Rising is a timed exclusive which is already on Steam. But if you want to count it that's still 5 months and only one retail release.
And if I was so poor at reading and understanding calendars this site would probably give me headaches too.
Lets be honest at this point they should just sell the car and start riding the bus.
@TheCommentator
If they have all these unannounced games why are they only talking about the same 4 games and pretty obviously delaying them for the Scorpio launch later this year? If they have so many unannounced games wouldn't it be better to have some games spread out instead of getting spanked monthly by Sony and eating tons of bad press?
What your saying is what you want to believe and based on no factual evidence.
Yea... uh don't hold your breath.
This of course has nothing to do with taxes. It has to do with labor and being able to get qualified people quickly and with out having to go through bureaucracy.
Wow man your really having a melt down...
I suggest prayers to Jesus, he really cares about consoles I hear lol...

Sweet Lord Jesus bring forth the Power of Scorpio and overwhelm us with its power and beautiful graphics .

@TheCommentator
Go play Halo Wars 2 or something... or is that game not good enough for you? Oh wait that game actually isn't very good, and there isn't any "something else" for you to play on XBone... o.k. carry on then.
"Things just don't happen over night"
Well how about 3 years? Is that enough time?
@AngelicIceDiamond
"Hyping and dreaming up a none existent that's still a few years out. A little strange but have fun."
Isn't that a little like Microsoft announcing a console that was almost two years away....
"Are you saying they released one game last year? Because that's definitely not right."
No that wasn't what I said.
I said "Xbone has had one game SINCE last year and it's not even very highly rated", that game is Halo Wars 2.
The last exclusive they had was Gears of War 4 in October 2016 it's almost April 2017, so it's been almost 7 months and only one retail exclusive. And whats more they don...
PS4 Switch PC. That's the best bet.
@AngelicIceDiamond
It's been three and a half years years and Xbone has only sold 25 million. No console that plays the same games will sell better than the cheaper original.
@darthv72
"Despite this "identity crisis" it still manages to sell better than the 360 did with RRoD."
This isn't really true anymore.
Gap change over last 12 months: 2,871,767 – X360
http://n4g.com/news/2030078...
By the time they post February's results 360...
So far this year they haven't even had any dude bro games... much less any kind of variety.
Well even if that was true which it isn't we're in the present now and PS4 has had tons of highly rated games each month while Xbone has had one game since last year and it's not even very highly rated.
So uh... yea, whats your point?
Who gives a shit about Witcher 2 at this point?
Have you finished Ni-oh, Yakuza 0, Gravity Rush 2, The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Neir Automata,Tales of Bersaria or pre-ordered Persona 5 on your XBone yet?
No
First off he doesn't know why it was canceled he doesn't work at Microsoft anymore. That's why he was tweeting Phil who replied with the infamously dumb statement that canceling games is better for the gamers. Microsoft could have continued to work on the game or offered help if there was a problem but they chose to cancel it which was a huge mistake for them.
On top of that it's not known who owns the IP for Scalebound even if they do own the IP it's ...
