This is a misleading statement.
First off there are monitors at many different price ranges and PC monitors at the high end offer far superior image quality to even the best consumer TV's.
Just like everything, it's starts on PC (for business professional work) and trickles down to the more consumer based products. 4k monitors have been available for far longer than 4k TV's and 10 bit+ monitors that offer billions of colors (aka HDR) have be...
This has to be a tough pill for Microsoft to swallow when they realize the top three performing games were basically a PS3 game and two Nintendo games that basically run at sub 1080p.
As has been said many times it's games not graphics that matter. Graphics are nice but with out the games to begin with there is nothing.
I don't think this comparison is in anyway to Microsoft's benefit. It only serves to show how poor the sales of XBone have actually been.
And again we see PS3 the console that Xbox owners were declaring dead continues extend the gap over XBone month after month with the gap being over 20% in favor of PS3.
That is not a statement you can make. All that is known is that Microsoft owns the title "Scalebound". If Platinum Games owns the source code which is likely, they could easily release the game as "Dragonbound" like what happened with Sleeping Dogs.
This whole thing is getting way over blown fast.
If this was the case which I highly doubt, it would be the sleaziest move in gaming history.
Basically they are stealing an idea which was Platinum's and Kamiya's.
They would have taken a game that was another companies idea had them lay all the groundwork then fired them and hired a cheaper company to produce the game.
If they do this you can pretty much count out any future Japanese support especially from Platinum games. And...
I can't express how much I prefer Sony's subtlety to Microsoft's constant hype machine and Phil Spin'ster's constant ramblings.
Just make a console and games and let them speak for themselves.
Lets not forget its filled with micro-transactions.
So... Not having any big name releases to go with the launch of your new console is a good thing... gotcha.

Haha you guys are too much... even when they tell you flat out it's not going to be at E3 you think it's a trick... wow...
You guys are really setting yourself up for disappointment.
No, your supposed to be impressed by the games. That's what matters.

I think this gif really sums up this data well.
Scorpio might have 4k but it doesn't have dynamic games.
If your expecting new studios to be announced at E3 you're going to be extremely disappointed. Expecting a new game or two is reasonable. But even if they show new games they are going to be in early development and far off. The games people realistically expect to see at E3 (Crackdown if it's not canceled Cuphead, Sea of Thieves) are games they have been talking about since 2013 and 2014.
"So how do you count a subscription if its never been used or signed up for? "
That's pretty simple you just say X number of people have installed Windows 10, so since Xbox live is part of Windows 10 even if it's never been used. Then you add it to the total. And you take people who have both Xbox live on a console and own a Windows 10 PC and double count them.
"And why would the CEO of Microsoft put himself out there like that wit...
Fake E3 leaks eh...
Yea, I heard a leak that Microsoft is going to have some games...
Of course this is misleading as per norm. Hey lets include all the computers that have Xbox live pre-installed even when the app has never been opened once. Much less had someone sign into an actual account.
Microsoft is basically just making up numbers at this point.
Microsoft: Yea we have eleventyfrilliongrillion users!
The point is Microsoft is pushing 4k not the games. And this shows that it's not graphics that sell it's games.
As for the 1080p thing resolutions can be different when the unit it not docked and I am not sure what it runs at on portable mode so I said "basically". And we know Zelda is sub 1080p.
But again the point was it's about games first.
