I do believe its money well-spent. The engines for both Uncharted and KZ2 could pave the way for future games and lower development costs.
Though it doesn't seem easy to top KZ2 right now, I think there's more to come from PS3 as developers get more comfortable with the hardware.
Oh, and about KZ2 graphics, remember the CGI trailer? Hardly anyone thought it was possible, and I think that proves something about the present graphics (even though you don't think so)
They might, or they might not. To MS, the money seems better spent on DLCs. Well, enjoy your DLCs then
I do agree with your point that Sony needs to put in a decent ad campaign. This is the genre that captures the general public.
Oh my! Now I know why you act the way you do. I feel sorry for you pp..
These days, games don't seem to be judged on fun alone. Hardware reliability no longer seems important.
Marketing whether proper or viral seems to be the order of the day. You can see that from viral marketing offsprings all over the internet.
Well, who could ever know. Killzone 1 might have become a 10/10 game with some goodies bags and Helghan fries, well some other game did.

bang bang bang
And fansubs for animes never seem to take that long..
Ah well what do I know, I'm not a programmer
Hey, isn't that fun? Now both ps3 and xbox360 fans can wait beyond together thanks only to the combined efforts of MS, Sony and SE.
Poor Nintendo though, all alone in one corner...
lol. props to you for making the connection
Hey, it's my pleasure
That would be Grand Camel Auto, a whole new franchise
your appalling comment left me laughing too

At first it's AAA games, now it's 10/10 to be a success. Wow, your standards are getting real high nowadays.
You do realize you are responding vehemently. Giving you the benefit of doubt, I believe your brain size is bigger than a pea as most humans'.
And so, you should be able to see the difference between marketing and viral marketing. What most ppl are up against is viral marketing I guess.
@above : Boasting (or rather stating your advantages over your competition) is definitely part of marketing. It is not wrong for either MS nor any other companies to do it.
