I had heard this as just a rumor before, but now they're not only selling the CELL but the RSX too? When and how did that happen?
Well, Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights are both PC games, which don't seem to get as much press these days. Mass Effect is a HUGE upcoming game and is probably what most gamers these days know them for (that, and KOTOR).
I'm gonna agree with the article, though. I've been a fan of Bioware for a long time, but this whole EA thing makes me uneasy. EA has a bad rep with gamers for a reason, and I have yet to be convinced that they've turned themselves around.
That doesn't make any sense. Why would they want to get rid of a superior model, bundle it with more stuff, and sell it for more of a loss? Shouldn't they be doing whatever they can to make the system BETTER?
Thanks, man!
Manhunt 2 got re-banned after being approved? That's dumb...
What are you getting at? 360 games get updates all the time, plus the firmware update "for wireless guitar support" and the one to "prepare for Halo 3". Not to mention the huge updates every Spring and Fall. Aren't updates supposed to be good?
I played the demo for it and it was kinda neat. Can't say I'd run out and buy it or anything, but it might be worth a rental.
That was very helpful and informative.
The Bravia was one of the TV's that was specifically mention DOES NOT have this problem.
Probably not since it hasn't been released yet.
No, I'm pretty sure both the 360 and PS3 have wireless guitars. The PS3 version is probably more expensive because it needs that extra dongle attachment to go wireless.
Why do they keep calling them Accomplishments instead of Achievements? It doesn't seem like it should be that difficult of a thing to keep straight.
What a perfect setting for an MMO. I'm actually incredibly surprised that this IP wasn't tapped into as soon as MMO's started getting popular. I'm interested to see how this turns out. It could end up all action oriented and missing the point of the world, or it could be a EVE/first-gen Star Wars Galaxies hybrid that would just be spectacular. Color me excited.
Depending on how awesome this Lightsaber "peripheral" is, it just might be the final kick in the crapper that convinces me to get a Wii.
I've played the previous two SOF games, and I have to say that this really could go either way. The first game actually had a story and plot, while the second one... not so much. The first one was actually pretty decent, but the second one just ran with the "blow arms and legs off" gimmick, and even though it looked better graphically, it really wasn't that hot of a game.
The one thing I don't understand is the part in the preview where the guy says "The most u...
Wasn't this article already posted just a few days ago?
Agreed. I think the 360 is a superior system with superior games (at least at the moment), but the fanboys that claim Halo 3 is the be all, end all are wrong, and it makes all of us look bad. I rented it and beat it in two days. It was a decent game but certainly not the perfect 10 that reviewers have been handing it. There are games available now and even more games coming out that are/will be better than Halo 3. Halo 3 IS the flagship title for the 360, but I don't think that means it ...
Just because a system has a lot of potential doesn't mean the developers utilize it, much less actually know HOW to get the most out of it. I mean, isn't this basically the argument PS3 fans have been using to describe why multi-platform games are worse on the PS3? Because devs don't know how to tap into the PS3's awesome power? Seriously, you guys are starting to sound a little hypocritical...
You, sir, are dumb as hell.
Get your act together. It's not a duplicate because the other story was about the CELL, and this is about the RSX as well. People need to actually READ the story before they cry duplicate. And no, I'm very much not The Round Peg.
